Daily News – Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox are certainly fanning the gossip fires when it comes to reports they’re an item. The “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” co-stars (whose movie killed the competition with a $201 million five-day opening) sat side by side during a dinner with 10 pals — including director Oliver Stone — at Nobu on Thursday.

“They definitely seemed into each other,” says a witness, who told us that when Fox left at 10 p.m., LaBeouf followed hot on her heels. Another spy added that, while partying at a Rose’s bash in West Hollywood earlier in the week, “Shia couldn’t keep his eyes off of Megan: He literally watched her like a hawk all night.”

What’s up Shia? Excellent Film Choices…Wall Street Remake and The Associate…

Daily News – What John Grisham wants, John Grisham gets.

associate

The author was pulling for Shia LaBeouf to sign on to his latest novel-turned-movie, “The Associate,” and he got his wish. “I think he’ll be wonderful!” Grisham gushes. “He’s a very talented actor, and he’s hot. He’s the hottest 22-year-old actor in America, and I think he’ll do a wonderful job.”

Lucky LaBeouf will join the ranks of Tom Cruise, Matt Damon, Matthew McConaughey and Kiefer Sutherland, who’ve all appeared in flicks based on Grisham novels.

Shia LaBeouf’s childhood deserves an NC-17 rating.
In a candid new interview, the star of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen — who severely injured his hand last summer in an early morning car crash — talks about his, um, revealing upbringing, including how his hippie mother would often walk around their home naked — even when he had friends over to play. Dexterity-challenged Shia LaBeouf ended 2008 on the lousiest note possible—by having to jump start his car’s battery. LaBeouf, 22, parked his fire-engine red classic auto outside a Hollywood studio while he took a meeting on Tuesday. The actor later stepped back outside only to discover that his ride was out of juice. The departing year proved to be a trying one for the Eagle Eye heartthrob. Shia was involved in a dangerous vehicular accident in July, after which he initially faced DUI charges. [Wait!Theres Tons More…]

Backseat Cuddler – Shia LaBeouf is seriously clumsy, or just unlucky.  TMZ reports that he was injured by a prop while filming Transformers 2. The website reports that Shia “got a cut below his eyebrow that required stitches.” He got his stitches and went right back to work.  Let it never be said that he’s a slacker, although he’s probably starting to look like a walking crash test dummy.  Although I guess that’s the risk you run being an action hero.

Try not to hurt yourself anymore, Shia!

Shia LaBeouf is celebrating after learning he won’t be charged with drunk driving following a July car accident in Hollywood that left him with a shattered hand.

Authorities arriving at the scene suspected the Transformers star had been drinking, but the Los Angeles District Attorney has declared there isn’t enough evidence to bring a case against the actor.

LaBeouf, who was arrested before undergoing hand surgery after the collision, has already avoided blame in the near-fatal accident – 21-year-old Simon Herbert was cited for running a red light and causing the crash last month.

LaBeouf’s Transformers director Michael Bay has never doubted his young star’s sobriety on the night of the crash.

At the time of the accident, Bay said, “He was not drunk. He was drinking hours and hours before… That’s (DUI rumor) gonna go away.

Fox News – Fresh off the summer buzz surrounding his role in “Indiana Jones 4,” actor Shia LaBeouf says his new film “Eagle Eye” is similar to real life, in that it’s like “living in a fishbowl,” Parade Magazine reported. LaBeouf compares “Eagle Eye,” a “Big Brother” thriller where the enemy that can infiltrate telephones, TVs and computers, to living with the constant invasion of his privacy since he has reached superstardom.

“I kind of live in a fishbowl, but what people don’t realize is that I’m not the only one,” LaBeouf told Parade. See full story here . “The irony is they say to me, ‘I don’t know how you can deal with being followed and recorded everywhere you go.’ And while they’re saying that they may be getting recorded.” The 22-year-old chalks up his amazing rise to success on “riding coattails.” “I mean, come on, ‘Indy Jones’ was going to be a success whether I was in it or not. You could have put Freddie Prinze Jr. in my part,” LaBeouf told Parade. “Put Frankie Muniz in ‘Transformers’ and it still would have been a hit. So I realize how lucky I’ve been.”

UsMagazine -Shia LaBeouf is speaking out about his July car crash, which he calls “eye opening and terrifying. “The car hit me at 70 mph,” the 22-year-old told Entertainment Tonight over the weekend while promoting his new flick, Eagle Eye. “It was one of the biggest things that’s happened to me, for sure, in my life,” he added. “I’m grateful to be here.”  LaBeouf was partying at West Hollywood’s Troubadour Club before the July 27 crash that flipped his truck. After the accident, he was booked on suspicion of DUI (police later said the other driver was at fault for running a red light).  LaBeouf underwent extensive hand surgery to repair two of his fingers, which were “pretty mashed,” in the accident, Transformers director Michael Bay later said. (His injury has been written into the movie’s sequel.) He recently told Access Hollyood he will have more surgery “to be back to 100 percent.” He said he was thankful his accident injured only his hand. Said LaBeouf, “It could have been something else.”
