Looks like Paula Abdul may have found her post American Idol gig! Her post Idol job hunt has been the subject of a lot of attention lately. She even appeared in a hilarious ‘job interview’ commercial…There have been rumors she would join Simon Cowell when he plans to bring “America’s Got Talent” to the United States. But the latest reports say that she is headed to a new reality show called “Star Search”… Abdul will likely be a judge on the new show.

Good news for Paula Abdul. She’s been offered $1 million dollars to develop a show for ABC with one condition – She has to appear on Dancing with the Stars in March. The deals also allows her to appear on Simon Cowells X-Factor which is he plans to bring to the United States next season. She’s suffering from pneumonia right now.
John Travolta is finding new ways to help the Haiti victims. He’s donated all of his air miles to help planning efforts for a mercy mission to help the quake victims. “I have arranged for a plane to take down some volunteer ministers and some supplies and some medic,” he said. “I hope that inspires others as well. It’s needed.”
Wyclef Jean wept in the face of what he called an ‘exodus’ and defended himself against accusations that he misused funds and failed to file taxes properly. He told an audience of reporters, ” “If you’re a man with a clear conscience, speak with a clear conscience and the world will know. The books are open. We have a clean bill of health from an auditor.” The news comes after the Smoking Gun website published reporters they said was incriminating evidence that the singer used funds he raised from his Yele Haiti charity for his own personal use.
Other Celebrities are coming out for Haitian relief efforts including a star studded appearance on Larry King Live. Jennifer Lopez and Paula Abdul were among the stars trying to raise awareness and asking viewers to donate money on behalf of the earthquake victims. The tragedy has had quite an impact on the stars.

It wasn’t too long ago when the public got work that Paula Abdul was not returning to idol which then jilted radio talk shows, blogs and columnists into lengthy discussions over what Paula should do, and what may have happened between her, the cast and the show producers. Paula Abdul was making 3.5 million per season and was requesting a minimum of 12 million per season, after Ryan Seacrest inked a 15 million per season deal and Simon Cowell signed on for a 30 million per season deal. The idol show producers make about 850 million on the show. Randy Jackson will return with 2 million a season, and Kara DiGiardo reportedly will make the same amount as Paula once had – 3.5 million. When Kara just signed on for the show, she reportedly told Abdul, “I can’t believe you work for so little.”

Huff Post – Okay, maybe not in real life, but in this VH1 spot Paula lands her latest hosting gig at an employment agency. After rejecting suggestions to pursue a career in finance or proctology, she seizes an opportunity to host ‘VH1 Divas,’ a formerly annual concert that returns next week after a five-year hiatus.
‘VH1 Divas’ will air live Thursday, September 17 at 9 pm EST. The lineup includes Jennifer Hudson, Sheryl Crow, Cyndi Lauper, Melissa Etheridge, Kelly Clarkson, Miley Cyrus, Jordin Sparks and Adele.
