The actress criticized the talk show host for allowing the former boxer to trash talk his ex-wife. Givens appeared on the Oprah show on Friday and fought back angry tears as she mentioned that she sat in disbelief as Oprah’s studio audience chuckled while Tyson admitted he wanted to “sock her.” Oprah then offered Givens a personal apology.

Access Hollywood – Ellen DeGeneres has reacted to the news that Oprah Winfrey will announce on Friday that she will end her network television talk show in 2011.
In a clip released on EllenTV.com, Ellen revealed that Oprah herself shared the news with her fellow talk show host on Thursday afternoon.
“Right before I came out here, I got a call from Oprah and she told me that she is announcing that next year will be her last year,” Ellen revealed to her audience on Thursday, following a taping of her show. “It will be her 25th year and she feels like it’s time for her to stop.”
Ellen credited Oprah for opening up the market and allowing talk show hosts like herself to make it.
“I don’t think I could be here without her. I think she has blazed a trail,” Ellen said. “She is an amazing woman. She will always be the Queen of daytime television and she also said she is leaving me all of her money. I was like, thanks Oprah, thank you.”
Ellen said she has fond memories of her recent O Magazine cover shoot with Oprah and she can’t wait to see what happens with Lady O in the future.
“She is an amazing woman. I love her and we’ve gotten very close over this ridiculous idea that I had of getting on the cover of O — a silly dream… And now we talk all the time and she is fantastic and I love her and I wish her the best,” Ellen told her audience. “She deserves to rest. She has worked really, really hard.”

.Showbiz Spy – MEDIA mogul Oprah Winfrey is so worried her former lover Stedman Graham will spill her secrets, she’s prepared to offer $150 million to buy his silence, it has been claimed.
The pair — who had been together since 1986 — apparently split in August after Graham told Winfrey he was “tired of being disrespected” and moved out of their luxury 5,000- square-foot Chicago apartment.
According to the National Enquirer, Oprah is also struggling to overcome a mountain of personal and professional headaches.
“Oprah has not been THIS unhappy in a long time!” a source told the tabloid.

Don’t expect Oprah to ever marry Stedman Graham. Oprah told a TV news anchor (in Atlanta), “Had we made the official marriage commitment, we wouldn’t still be together. “The reason the relationship works is that we get to define it on our terms. It would be very different if we were in a ‘traditional’ relationship where I was expected to be a wife and every now and then cook a meal!”

Does that mean Oprah also doesn’t drink Wu-Yi tea everyday? Oprah is constantly telling us ’Hoodia is the best diet pill on the market and it really works’? I always thought she was an Acai Berry Tea fanatic. Everyone knows she drinks tea at least once a day. What’s going on here? Ive seen these ads so much… I’ve definitely seen Oprah preaching the health benefits and green tea extract, and how she wants every American to know that Acai Berry Tea is the best of the best!
