People.com – Are Michael Jackson’s kids in danger living with his mom?
Debbie Rowe is starting to wonder. Flexing her rights as the surviving – though not custodial – parent of Michael’s eldest kids, Prince, 13, and Paris, 11, Rowe is “quite upset” to hear about antics involving a stun gun at the Jackson family compound, her close friend Marc Schaffel tells PEOPLE. The trouble focuses on reports that Michael’s 13-year-old nephew Jaafar, who also lives with the King of Pop’s mother Katherine Jackson, bought the weapon online and may have tried to harm Michael’s third child, Blanket, 8.

That’s according to new FBI documents released.1992 investigation of a man who threatened to kill the pop star and then-U.S. President George H.W. Bush. The AP reports, ‘the records include numerous threatening letters sent by the suspect, who the FBI said had falsely claimed to be the son of then-Gambino crime boss John Gotti and was initially ruled mentally incompetent to go to tria’
TMZ – The FBI will not release Michael Jackson documents relating to the molestation investigations as well as extortion attempts — at least not today.
The 333 pages of formerly-classified documents were supposed to be released today but the snow in Washington D.C. has caused a delay of at least one day.
As for what’s in the documents … sources tell TMZ during the 1993 Michael Jackson child molestation investigation, the late great Johnnie Cochran contacted the FBI, claiming the accuser’s family was trying to extort money from Jackson with false allegations. It’s likely Cochran’s contact with the agency will show up when the documents are released.

The theme park announced plans Friday to bring back the 3-D sci-fi film starring Michael Jackson next February, over 23 years after the attraction debuted in Anaheim, Calif. The 17-minute film starred the late King of Pop as a singing-and-dancing intergalactic commander. It was directed by Francis Ford Coppola and executive produced by George Lucas.

Where were you when you heard the news? It’s a question reserved for only the biggest of moments, and it’s usually not asked fondly. And that was the case with the death of Michael Jackson, an event that stopped the world in its tracks.
That’s not hyperbole, either. Jackson’s death on June 25 was a global event, bringing traffic in Times Square to a standstill, turning London’s O2 Arena — where he was scheduled to hold a 50-show residency — into an impromptu memorial site, filling the streets of Paris, Berlin and Dakar, Senegal, with mourners. His fans gathered because they didn’t know what else to do — so deep was their grief that they sought out the solace of strangers, their only connection the undying devotion to a man and his music, both of which, on one solemn day, disappeared forever.

NY Post – Thank heaven for little boys.In a 1999 painting he commissioned, Michael Jackson strikes the same pose as Michelangelo’s statue of David with rippling abs, bulging pecs and smooth, marble-white skin — surrounded by a bevy of male cherubs. The work, by artist David Nordahl, is just one of hundreds of private portraits the Gloved One ordered up over the years that depict him in an idealized light. They were revealed last week in a book about Jackson’s life.In the larger-than-life canvases, Jackson emerges as King Arthur, a superhero, even an angel — all drawn to his specifications.”He thought it was great with a little ‘tongue-in-cheek’ flavor,” said Nordahl of the oil-on-canvas work “Michael.”The artist painted hundreds of works for Jackson and reportedly earned $150,000 for the larger canvases. Jackson spent millions building up his private collection.
Nordahl made Jackson a Peter Pan-like figure in “The Storyteller” and added his sister Janet to the lower-left foreground in the shape of a fairy. The paintings can be seen in “Michael Jackson Opus: The Ultimate Celebration of an Icon,” a 250-page tome published this week by Kraken Opus.

Prosecutors and police in Los Angeles announced that they don’t expect to file charges in Michael Jackson’s death before 2010. They said that they have way to much evidence to review and that they need help from medical experts. MJ’s personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, has been named as a suspect in a manslaughter investigation. Murray has denied doing anything wrong and said he gave proper medical help when he found Michael not breathing.

AP – The King of Pop is still winning awards and setting records doing it.But while Michael Jackson won a record four posthumous awards, he couldn’t beat Taylor Swift for top honors at Sunday night’s American Music Awards.
The 19-year-old was named the year’s favorite artist, giving Jackson his only loss of the night, and giving her five trophies in all.
“Music has never been ultimately about competition,” she said as she accepted the top prize via satellite from London, where she is to perform Monday. “To even be mentioned in a category with Michael Jackson, who we will miss and love forever, is an unimaginable honor.”
The victories came during a performance-filled show that closed with an S&M-themed, sexually charged performance by Adam Lambert. [Wait!Theres Tons More…]

Parents-to-be Dawn Kelley and William Hickman were looking at the ultrasound scan of their unborn baby when they realised it looked like the late pop singer.
Mr Hickman, 29, a window cleaner, said: “I showed my daughter Ami, who’s six, and she saw it straight away, so I thought ‘well if she can see it too it’s not just me seeing things’.”
Mother-of-six Miss Kelley, 34, went for her 20-week scan at Sunderland Royal as normal last month, but doctors could not see the foetus’s stomach or diaphragm.
A few weeks later she was sent to Grindon Lane Walk in Centre for a closer look.
The more powerful scanner there is normally used to examine internal organs so the images it produces much more detailed.
Mr Hickman said: “We were looking at the pictures again, and I just saw Jacko there.
“None of us are really Michael Jackson fans. I mean I like him, but we’re not crazy about him or anything.”
The children Chris, 16, Amanda, 15, Jason, 13, Alisha, 10, Ami-Lee, six, and Kye, four, all see the famous singer’s face in the scan photo too.
But the new family member will not be called Michael – the couple already know they are having a girl.
Miss Kelley is 24 weeks pregnant and due to give birth to her daughter in March. She said: “I’ve had plenty of scans before and none of the photos have ever looked like this one. It’s a bit spooky really.
“But it is my seventh child, and they say seven is a mythical number.” – Telegraph

AP – The physician being investigated in Michael Jackson’s death reached an agreement Monday in a separate child support case that kept him out of a Nevada jail.
Prosecutors in Las Vegas had sought an arrest warrant for Dr. Conrad Murray after he failed to appear for previous hearings before Family Court officers attempting to collect unpaid child support for a California woman and her 11-year-old son dating back to October 2008.
With Murray at his side, defense lawyer Christopher Aaron paid $700 cash in court and promised Murray would pay another $303 to the woman, who submitted a letter to the court saying she was willing to forgive the $15,500 Murray already owed if he began paying $1,003 a month.
The woman, Nenita Malibiran of Santa Clara County, Calif., did not attend the hearing and did not immediately respond to a telephone message seeking comment.
The arrangement surprised Clark County Senior District Court Judge Gerald Hardcastle, who briefly questioned Murray about whether the woman had been coerced into what the judge called “a pretty magnanimous act.”
