Lauren Conrad continues to be ‘done’ with the Hills…
MTV – If any “Hills” fans are holding out hope for Lauren Conrad’s triumphant return to the show, they might be disappointed. The clothing designer and novelist told MTV News she’s done with “The Hills” for good, so you won’t be seeing any catfights between her and former “Laguna Beach” castmate Kristin Cavallari.”No!” she said at the prospect of returning to “The Hills.” “No, no, no! Done.”While Conrad has put “The Hills” behind her, that doesn’t mean that former flame Brody Jenner is giving up hope anytime soon. “I love Lauren to death. [Wait!Theres Tons More…]

Just as Lauren Conrad stepped away from one pop culture sensation, she joined up with key players on another. On Tuesday, as “The Hills” started up again without its original star, Variety announced that “Twilight” executive producers had acquired the rights to Conrad’s debut novel, “L.A. Candy.” Published in June, “L.A. Candy” follows 19-year-old Jane Roberts as she moves to Hollywood and becomes famous after landing on a reality-TV show. The movie deal came together after Conrad approached the producers, Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey, with an idea for how to adapt the book. “Lauren, [Wait!Theres Tons More…]

That’s $10,000 less than for Patridge, 24, and Lauren “Lo” Bosworth, 22, who each rake in $100,000. [Wait!Theres Tons More…]

In Touch recently reported that MTV has offered the former “Hills” a Newlyweds-style reality show if she and actor-boyfriend Kyle Howard tie the knot. But LC says the rumor is not true.

AP – If you need your fix of Lauren Conrad now that she’ll no longer be appearing on “The Hills,” cross your fingers: She could be coming to a big screen near you. The former reality star has revealed that a celluloid adaptation of her roman à clef novel, “L.A. Candy,” could be in the works very soon.”We’re hoping for a movie deal,” Conrad told us while hosting the Pool After Dark party at Harrah’s in Atlantic City over the weekend. “I’m working on [adapting the book for the movies] right now, but I don’t want to commit to anything until I see all my options. We have had a lot of exciting news in that respect, though.”As for casting, Conrad has no clue. “I haven’t even thought about it,” she confessed. And we know what that means – Conrad could be playing … herself! Er, we mean the protagonist, Jane Roberts – a girl who moves to Hollywood, gets her own reality show and ends up working at an events company, à la Conrad herself.

Sky News – Lauren Conrad is getting something off her chest…And that’s Heidi Montag’s over exposed bosom. The Hills star has slammed Heidi’s recent Playboy shoot in the rather more upmarket Harper’s Bazaar mag. When Loz was asked why Heidi chose to bare all for Playboy she said of Heid’s boobs: ”They’re not going to pay for themselves.”Strike one.The 23-year-old reality star remains firmly on her high horse as she moans about the Pratts: “I don’t call magazines and let them know about things so they can write stories.”She also slams the newlyweds for wearing masks in Mexico during the recent swine-flu scare following their May wedding: “I don’t know if it was so funny because people really were being affected by that disease.”Touche.Lauren then smoothed over her tirade by saying: “But otherwise (Heidi and Spencer) are very entertaining. You have to laugh.”You sure do, lady, you sure do.

UsMag - Lauren Conrad has no regrets about leaving hit U.S. reality show The Hills – after her debut novel topped the the New York Times Best Seller list. The 22 year old decided to quit the show earlier this year after living her life out in front of the cameras for five years. She was instantly bombarded with job offers, first launching her own clothing line, then landing a three-book deal for a series of young adult fiction novels.

And it seems Conrad has found her niche – her first novel, L.A. Candy, has topped the prestigious book chart for the second week in a row.She says, “If someone said to me five years ago when this all started that I would one day make the New York Times Best Seller list I wouldn’t have believed it. Iam so honoured that it is now a reality.”

She totally looks like Christina Applegate in this photo…
Well, it’s officially over: after years in front of MTV’s cameras, first on Laguna Beach and then The Hills, resident good girl Lauren Conrad is done putting her life on screen. The reality TV alum chronicled her feelings about her experiences on the show, writing on her blog after the last episode aired. Kristin Cavallari arrived during the season finale to take over the role of lead blonde.
LC writes:
“Last night was my last episode of ‘The Hills’. It was a bittersweet night for me. A part of me is sad to say goodbye to something that has been such a prominent part of my life, but I know that it was time and I am very happy with my decision. I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has watched and supported me over the years. While putting my personal relationships and struggles on television wasn’t always easy, the support I received from people made such a difference. Because of all of you, I was able to accomplish so many aspirations and for that I am very grateful. So, THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!
I have some interesting projects in the works and I will keep you all updated.
From what I’ve heard the next season will not disappoint
