In Touch recently reported that MTV has offered the former “Hills” a Newlyweds-style reality show if she and actor-boyfriend Kyle Howard tie the knot. But LC says the rumor is not true.

AP – If you need your fix of Lauren Conrad now that she’ll no longer be appearing on “The Hills,” cross your fingers: She could be coming to a big screen near you. The former reality star has revealed that a celluloid adaptation of her roman à clef novel, “L.A. Candy,” could be in the works very soon.”We’re hoping for a movie deal,” Conrad told us while hosting the Pool After Dark party at Harrah’s in Atlantic City over the weekend. “I’m working on [adapting the book for the movies] right now, but I don’t want to commit to anything until I see all my options. We have had a lot of exciting news in that respect, though.”As for casting, Conrad has no clue. “I haven’t even thought about it,” she confessed. And we know what that means – Conrad could be playing … herself! Er, we mean the protagonist, Jane Roberts – a girl who moves to Hollywood, gets her own reality show and ends up working at an events company, à la Conrad herself.

Sky News – Lauren Conrad is getting something off her chest…And that’s Heidi Montag’s over exposed bosom.The Hills star has slammed Heidi’s recent Playboy shoot in the rather more upmarket Harper’s Bazaar mag.When Loz was asked why Heidi chose to bare all for Playboy she said of Heid’s boobs: ”They’re not going to pay for themselves.”Strike one.The 23-year-old reality star remains firmly on her high horse as she moans about the Pratts: “I don’t call magazines and let them know about things so they can write stories.”She also slams the newlyweds for wearing masks in Mexico during the recent swine-flu scare following their May wedding: “I don’t know if it was so funny because people really were being affected by that disease.”Touche.Lauren then smoothed over her tirade by saying: “But otherwise (Heidi and Spencer) are very entertaining. You have to laugh.”You sure do, lady, you sure do.

Well, it’s officially over: after years in front of MTV’s cameras, first on Laguna Beach and then The Hills, resident good girl Lauren Conrad is done putting her life on screen.The reality TV alum chronicled her feelings about her experiences on the show, writing on her blog after the last episode aired. Kristin Cavallari arrived during the season finale to take over the role of lead blonde.

LC writes:

“Last night was my last episode of ‘The Hills’. It was a bittersweet night for me. A part of me is sad to say goodbye to something that has been such a prominent part of my life, but I know that it was time and I am very happy with my decision. I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has watched and supported me over the years. While putting my personal relationships and struggles on television wasn’t always easy, the support I received from people made such a difference. Because of all of you, I was able to accomplish so many aspirations and for that I am very grateful. So, THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!

I have some interesting projects in the works and I will keep you all updated.
