HuffPo – Conan O’Brien should watch out when he makes fat jokes. Kirstie Alley, now filming a reality series about her current weight loss venture and working on a line of products, went after the “Tonight Show” host on Twitter in a tweeted conversation with Star Jones, part of which is below. She says he “acts like I bit his dick off” and refers to him as Conan O’Bitch O’Brian [sic].
It’s not the first time she’s slammed him, as she also did back in July.

Kirstie Alley is set to join the docuseries ranks; thesp is close to signing on to star in an unscripted show for A&E.
Cabler has picked up 10 half-hour episodes of the untitled series, which is set to run sometime next year. The program will follow Alley as she struggles with weight loss while handling life as a single mom to two teenagers in Hollywood.

“Kirstie is exactly the kind of star A&E is drawn to,” said A&E nonfiction/alternative programming senior VP Robert Sharenow. “Her personal life has been playing out in the media for years, but this will be the first time she’ll be opening up her home to reveal her real life for the cameras.”
Alley has come close, however — in the scripted world. The actress played a version of herself in Showtime’s “Fat Actress,” a partly improvised 2005 series that was loosely based on her struggles with weight and attempts at finding work in Hollywood.
This time out, the show comes as Alley prepares to launch a weight loss program. According to A&E, Alley is also “producing a feature film, patenting multiple inventions, working hard to raise two normal Hollywood teenagers, taking care of eight ringtail lemurs and, on top of everything, looking for love.”

Daily News – Kirstie Alley lost a remarkable 75 pounds during her famous stint as a Jenny Craig spokesperson, but, alas, the fat that melted off didn’t stay off. In fact, the former “Cheers” star ended up packing the weight back on, reaching 228 lbs., her highest poundage ever, she told People magazine. Alley pointed to an unbalanced take on vegetarianism as the major culprit in her weight gain. “For seven months I was a vegetarian, and I can’t tell you how much weight I gained being a vegetarian! A vegetarian would probably be eating vegetables.
