Katy’s Mom, Mary Hudson, said: “Russell must go towards the light and not towards the darkness, Only God can take the very worst person and turn them around for good.” Her dad Keith said he gave Russell a copy of his book “The Cry”, to help him “release the desperate longing for God’s intervention in your life”. As a token of his appreciation, Russell gave Katy’s daddy his autobiography, “My Booky Wook”, which talks about his life of drugs and hookers.
Keith and Mary are also hoping religion will help stop Russell from cheating on their daughter. They also said that Russell was a spiritual person looking for God, they are willing to accept him and they think if everything goes well, the couple could end up getting married. Mary also said: “I mean, how many times have your kids disappointed you so profoundly that you wanted to get up from the chair and knock them out? There are parts of Russell’s book where he’s really hungry for positive influences in his life. I think the two of them are hungry. They are basically looking for God and they are seeking the truth and they are going to find it.” Keith said: “We all have a past. I was in the Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin era and I used to take LSD. Russell’s really got a hunger for the supernatural. He’s got a real spiritual hunger. Russell really likes us because he has a whole new different concept on Christianity now that he has met us.”

Katy Perry and Russell Brand are taking their relationship to the next level by planning to live together. “Krussty” have only been dating for a few weeks but are already wanting to buy a home in Los Angeles, California. They’ve been looking at 5,000 sq ft pads in the Hollywood Hills. A source told ShowbizSpy.com: “Like a lot of celebrity romances, Russell and Katy have dived in at the deep end, but they’ve completely fallen for each other. Katy’s just the girl to keep Russell on his toes and he’s head over heels. “He keeps telling us he’s never met anyone like her and he knows she’s the one for him. He’s 34 and has been playing the field for years now and he’s thinking this could be the time to settle down. She loves his sense of humor. He totally cracks her up and she says it’s really hot when they get together.”

British comic Russell Brand is said to be have some interesting plans for new girlfriend Katy Perry’s 25th birthday this weekend. He’s planning a visit from a petting zoo costing around $30,000. BUT…. the animals are all animatronic, inspired by an attraction at the Hollywood complex The Grove, where Russ also treated Katy to a movie. A source tells the SUN newspaper: “Russell took Katy to see the movie Where The Wild Things Are at The Grove’s cinema. “She was really taken with the petting zoo temporarily set up next to the Farmer’s Market.
“There are real animals in one section and then this amazing fake menagerie for kids. You can milk the cow and ride on the pony.” Katy said she would love to go on everything but didn’t because she didn’t want to be photographed. The source added: “While she was looking at a goat being unloaded Russell got the contact details of the event organizers. “He has arranged for the zoo to arrive at Katy’s LA home for her birthday.”

RUSSELL BRAND has declared his love for KATY PERRY, just days after the couple was first spotted stepping out together. The I Kissed A Girl hitmaker was seen walking arm-in-arm with Brand in London on Friday after they reportedly enjoyed a romantic break together in Thailand last month . Perry has since headed to France for Paris Fashion Week – and the Forgetting Sarah Marshall star is missing his new lover.
He tells Britain’s The Sun newspaper, “I think I’m in love.” But he refused to comment on his time spent with Perry adding, “I don’t think I should be drawn on that.”

At The video music awards show last month, host, Russel Brand joked around about wanting to make out with Katy Perry that night even telling the audience he had her hotel room key. Katy Perry couldn’t help but share the news, as she tweeted “After a week in magical Thailand I’m ready 2 face the real world again”
