Celebitchy – As many have noted, Kate Beckinsale has one of the most adorable little dogs in Hollywood. Allegedly, the puppy is a Maltese/Chihuahua mix, and most of the time he’s sitting safely in Kate’s arms. He’s very photogenic, and he’s become a favorite of the paparazzi who regularly photograph Kate Beckinsale. Last month, the photographers even caught her lifting the puppy by his harness – the photos looked like she was choking the puppy, and there was some outrage. As it turned out, the puppy was on a body harness, but it’s still a pretty rough way to pick up a dog.
Anyway, the photographers from Fame Pictures caught Kate in a new scandal involving her dog. Apparently, she left the puppy inside her car while she spent hours at a Los Angeles salon. The worst part? Kate left all the windows up and didn’t even leave him any water. What the f-ck, Kate?
Kate Beckinsale spent hours inside the Byron Tracy Salon on November 19, 2009 in Los Angeles, California while her poor little pup sat in the car the whole time. Kate also left all the windows up, no water, his leash and harness on, which could kill a poor little guy if the weather gets hot enough, which southern California is known for, even in winter. PETA might have a bone to pick with Mrs. Beckinsale once they hear about this.

This really pisses me off. I have a 100-pound monster of a dog who loves to go in the car, so much so that he even cries when I don’t take him somewhere. I never, never, never leave him in the car “for hours” and I never, never, never leave him in the car without opening a window. That’s beyond cruel – it could and would kill a dog. Kate doesn’t deserve to be a pet owner.
KATE BECKINSALE spent a nervous few months in her native Britain earlier this year (09) – she flew in with daughter LILY just as the swine flu pandemic was sweeping the nation. The actress, who now lives in Los Angeles with her husband Len Wiseman, returned to England to visit friends and family at Easter – and she stayed there until the beginning of summer. But the trip home was a little nerve-wracking because friends and relations were falling sick all around her.
WENN = She explains, “It was just sort of rocketing there, lots of people we knew were getting it – my best friend’s kids had it.”
And when she wasn’t dodging swine flu, Beckinsale was trying to stay cool during an uncomfortable English heatwave.
She adds, “It was very very hot, which doesn’t often happen in England and it can’t really handle it because we don’t have air conditioning.
“I was quite shocked. I had not been back for any real length of time in about seven years. I realised if you leave your window open… lots of these tiny little flies would come. I spent most of my time dodging swine flu and vacuuming flies off the ceiling.” And to make matters worse, she also picked up ‘kissing disease’ mononucleosis during her trip: “Guess who’s the only other person who got it – my mother, which is weird and creepy… My mother still has it.”
Beckinsale’s New Movie Whiteout Opened yesterday…
The 35-year-old studied Russian at England’s elite Oxford University so she could read her favourite books in their original language. But Beckinsale is disappointed her studies have not been useful in her rise to stardom. She says, “Now I only speak Russian with the woman who does my bikini wax. See what Hollywood does to you.”

For those spreading rumors about Kate Beckinsale demanding a body double, the studio has a request: Butt out.
Warner Bros. has lashed out at reports claiming the British beauty demanded producers hire a body double for a nude scene in her upcoming drama, Whiteout, after refusing to show her nekkid bum on camera.
They did, as it happens, hire one—but not, they want to make clear, as a result of any diva demands or actress insecurities.
That clears that up.
“The claims appearing on the Internet today that Kate Beckinsale requested a body double for filming Whiteout are absolutely untrue,” the studio said. “As is standard practice on many movies, a body double was hired for several scenes by the production and not at the request of Kate Beckinsale.”
Producer Susan Downey also chimed in: “Kate Beckinsale made no request for a body double for this production.’”
ActressKate Beckinsale demanded a body double for her latest film – because she “loathes” her bottom. Producers have had to hire a $2,000-a-day nude stand-in after Kate refused to bare her derriere in a shower scene.
