MYV – After a couple of rough months that found him getting massive flack for interrupting Taylor Swift at the VMAs and canceling his tour with Lady Gaga, Kanye West got some very good news on Friday. Though he was not present for the ruling, West caught a break when a Los Angeles court commissioner dismissed all three misdemeanor charges against the rapper in connection with a scuffle with paparazzi at the Los Angeles International Airport in September 2008.
Court commissioner Mark Zuckman dismissed misdemeanor charges of battery, grand theft and vandalism against West and tour manager Don Crowley. West was arrested on suspicion of vandalism and Crowley on suspicion of vandalism and battery on September 12, 2008, when they allegedly confronted TMZ photographers and smashed their equipment; West and Crowley, 33, pleaded not guilty to the charges, which could have sent West to jail for up to two years and six months and Crowley for up to five years.
City prosecutors opposed the dismissal, arguing that both West, 32, and Crowley had exhibited “felonious intent” in allegedly breaking the expensive camera gear. As part of the dismissal, West and Crowley were ordered to complete 50 hours of community service — West’s attorney said he will work perform his service with the American Red Cross. – MTV

Sources Say Kanye West and Lady Gaga worldwide concert tour is offically cancelled. I’m sure Lady Gaga is pretty upset with how Kanye’s outburst directly impacted her own career. Well we’re also hearing more on Lady Gaga and Kanye West, the duos tour apparently was canceled because of slow ticket pre-sales but it’s also being reported that Lady Gaga wants the show to continue as a solo act without Kanye West….

There are rumors that Kanye West is really about to make good on his promise to take some time off and it could come sooner than later. That’s because there’s a mystery regarding his upcoming “Fame Kills” tour with Lady GaGa. Full dates came out this week on the Pollstar website but there wasn’t any confirmation from Kanye or GaGa’s camps that the dates were the real deal. Then yesterday morning, tour dates were posted on the Ticketmaster website and were then removed. Internet presales for some of the dates were supposed to go on sale yesterday morning but now it seems that won’t happen.

Kanye West apologized two times on his Web site and once on Jay Leno before actually calling Taylor Swift to personally apologize for interrupting her speech at the MTV Video Music Awards. Taylor said: “Kanye did call me and he was very sincere in his apology and I accepted that apology. The support that I got from other artists and the fans and so many people sticking by me, that’s what got me to the place where I could accept that apology. And I’m just very thankful that everyone showed me so much love.”
