Hough says she is now focusing on her film career, which includes the upcoming “Footloose.” She says she still loves the show and may return the season after next.

OK Mag – Six months after steaming up the dance floor on Dancing with the Stars, country darlings Julianne Hough and Chuck Wicks have broken up.
The aspiring singers reportedly bought a house together three months ago, but it wasn’t enough to keep them together.
“This was mutual,” a source says. “They both needed some time apart.”
It seemed like the pair were made for each other. “What’s been fun is that we never argued at all,” Julianne, 21, told E! News after they stepped off DWTS in sixth place.
“We’ve had a little tiff here and there, but about dance movements. It was fun. We had this passion. It was fun for us because we never argued.”
But, the pair have to face each other at tomorrow’s Country Music Association Awards where Julianne is scheduled to present and Chuck, 30, is working the red carpet for Entertainment Tonight.

Variety – Dancing With the Stars” pro dancer and country singer Julianne Hough will star opposite Chace Crawford in Paramount’s upcoming remake of “Footloose.” Casting is contingent on working out scheduling. Crawford signed on a month ago to star after Zac Efron decided in March against toplining another tuner following “High School Musical 3” and “Hairspray.” Lensing is set to begin in March. Plans are for a more mature approach to the material than in the original “Footloose.” Dylan Sellers is producing alongside Kenny Ortega, Craig Zadan — a producer of the original “Footloose” — and Neil Meron. The 1984 original spawned one of the biggest-selling soundtracks of its era and made a star of Kevin Bacon.
