Jon Gosselin and TLC are on speaking terms once again, following a high profile contract battle with the network sparked from his abrupt cancellation of his reality show Jon & Kate Plus 8. He’s also reportedly trying to get TLC to start filming them again.
A judge in October forbid him from appearing on rival network programs for pay and making unauthorized public disclosures about the show, as part of his contract. In a statement to Us Magazine, “TLC has reached a settlement with Jon Gosselin. The network adds that the terms were confidential.”
She’s basically looking for her next tv vehicle, to occupy her new ‘post hit TLC-reality show’ life. She’s got a number of test pilots out there…including MomLogic, a ‘VIew’ styled daytime gabfest that’s looking for a home on cable. And Just last week, reporters found Kate with camera crews filming her in a restaurant diner, serving pancakes to locals. Jon allowed crews to film his children again today…after cutting off access to camera crews last Thursday.
Radar.com reports “Jon has invited TV cameras – not from TLC – into their home for late Thursday to film the birthday party…” and says, Kate, had emphatically said no to allowing the cameras at home given that just one week ago, Jon had put a sign put up at the family Wernersville, PA home forbidding cameras from filming Kate Gosselin’s show Kate Plus 8 (Jon had been fired last week for having too many affairs during their seperation..).

PEOPLE – With an hour-long special broadcast Monday night, Jon and Kate Gosselin, parents of eight young children and stars of the TLC reality show Jon & Kate Plus Eight, publicly announced that they will separate on the same day that Kate filed for divorce in a Pennsylvania court.
Jon Says ‘He’s Excited’ to Move On
“Over the course of this weekend, Jon’s activities have left me no choice but to file legal procedures in order to protect myself and our children,” Kate said in a statement Monday night. “While there are reasons why it was appropriate and necessary for me to initiate this proceeding, I do not wish to discuss those reasons at this time, in the hope that all issues will be resolved amicably between Jon and myself. As always, my first priority remains our children.”
Kate Said the Divorce would have happened if it played out on television or not…
Jon released a statement of his own, claiming his wife was the first to make a legal move. “This afternoon, Kate filed for divorce. Our kids are still my number one priority. I love them and want to make sure they stay happy, healthy and safe. My job is being the best, most supportive and loving father that I can be to my kids, and not being married to Kate doesn’t change that.”
