Chase Crawford was seen wearing a suit on the set of Gossip Girl in the Lower East Side in New York City. I thought I’d mention this to make all the girls reading to suddenly feel longingess…He’s currently filming season three of the popular hit drama…

The handsome pair have been real-life roommates since moving to the Big Apple for the TV drama, and have shared an apartment in Manhattan’s Chelsea district since the series began airing in 2007.
However Crawford, 23, is looking for some privacy from Westwick, 21, and is eyeing a move “downtown, in a secure building with a doorman,” a source tells the New York Post.
The source adds, “Chace wants to move out to a bachelor pad. He wants privacy and has told his agent to spare no expense in finding the perfect loft.”

Chase Crawford leaves the Plaza Hotel following an after-party for ‘Fashion Rocks’ in New York City.
So I never finished my conversation about Sis and I going to the bookstore. We went looking for Rachel Ray and Martha Stewart. Only those two are acceptable to her, maybe Julia Child’s French Cookbook too. Unfortunately, Martha Stewart did not have any normal cookbooks out, only Wedding Cake type coffeetable books. So…. We went looking though the Rachel Ray, and then I decided to veer off to the CD area to surprise her with ‘hip, current’ CD’s. I grabbed five ’surefire hip & current music cds’ that would appeal to her. She always wants CURRENT music. I got her
Rihanna, of course. (I can’t believe there are still people who don’t own her cd, so here is the link…)
Mariah Carey’s latest
Madonna, Hard Candy -4 Minutes Song with JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE!
Leona Lewis
Cold Play -
Sex & the City Soundtrack (this is surefire hit with moms)
Duffy - updated with link to her cd on amazon
I keep emphasizing ‘current’ music because SIS got mad at me the last time I got her CDs. I knew she loved The Police and Madonna in the 80’s. I thought she would like a great 80’s compiliation, but not at all was the case!!! She wanted ‘current’ music. So I went online to confirm those were ‘current’ Cds and I got them for her. We walked out with Rachel Ray and cool music. Later I found through the Britney Spears OK magazine article that Britney’s listening to those same CDs. Sis says other mothers would like to have this information too, and to put it on the blog, so here it is. I’ll add to cool web moms.
We left with a beach novel too – Lisa always has a beach novel in her hands or a catalogue or a celebrity weekly. She was flipping through the Barney’s denim edition and got excited about the new J.Crew catalogue (but disappointed when she got the store and saw it wasn’t what she was expecting). She’s reading Michael Chrichton “Next” right now. She whips through those novels in a day or two.
More later…
Meanwhile, Rachel Ray went skydiving…I’m glad the celebrity weeklies are covering her now, because there is so much demand for gossip on her.

How did Rachael Ray ring in the big 4-0? By skydiving. For the fourth time. “I find it strangely calming,” she told Lifeline Live in an interview about the new season of her show, USA Today reports. “I feel at peace afterward.” Can you believe these stars are 40? She also celebrated her latest milestone with a check-up by her doctor. Relax — everything’s fine. She said she has “perfect blood pressure,” but she has bruised her vocal chords. “I never shut up long enough for that to heal,” said Ray, who added that she does “about 280 episodes” a year. “They’re going to try to teach me how to speak properly. I don’t know if an old dog can learn new tricks, but I’m going to try.” She has been taking antacids, downing herbal tea and using an Echinacea spray. “I must learn how to change the way I speak,” she said. Ray is gearing up for her third season of her daytime talk show (premiering Monday, September 8). Her first guest: Ed McMahon. “Ed McMahon is absolutely amazing. What a icon. What a gentleman,” she said. She said she was “really impressed” that he confessed his recent financial woes. “He bonded with all of America by telling them, ‘Hey, you guys aren’t the only ones suffering,’ Ray said. “I thought that was a such brave, cool, honest thing.”
Also, apologies to the Military wives reading this blog. I nearly forgotten how into ‘Army wives’ we were, and didn’t mean to anger to them. PLEASE come back.
Duffy (She’s great, I had accidentally forgot to link to her amazon page. Sorry for that)
