Matthew had been “stoked” on parenthood from the beginning. The couple announced their pregnancy via his official Web site in January, but were determined not to find out the sex.
“We want to keep the suspense as high as possible!” Matthew said.
Emotions were definitely high when Levi finally arrived July 7 at 6:22 p.m. PST, as OK! exclusively reported. “Camila and I were side by side the entire time. We are both tired and elated, and are so happy to have created the greatest miracle in the world — Having a child and making a family,” the 38-year-old told OK!. “Now comes the greatest adventure — raising one, together.”
Explaining the meaning behind their son’s name, the actor shared with OK! that Levi is another name for the apostle Matthew and Levi’s time of birth represents his favorite passage in The Bible: “If thy eye be single, thy whole body will be full of light.”
Levi’s middle name, is, of course, a nod to mom’s surname.
“We welcome Levi Alves McConaughey into this wonderful life and look forward to living in it with him,” Matthew said. “In the mean time and all times, just keep livin’.”

The new father is finishing up touches on “Surfer Dude” – the movie he produced with his company, jk livin’ (”just keep livin’ “) – and now he wants to start a record label. A source said, “He’s looking for a distribution deal with all the major labels for his own label. His first artist is a reggae guy called Mishka. The album will be called ‘Above the Bones’ and the first single is ‘Here Comes Da Train.’ He’s also doing the soundtrack for ‘Surfer Dude.’ ” McConaughey’s rep confirmed the story but said, “There is no single yet.”

I was in NY yesterday and was chatting with the newstand guy rather candidly and he was telling me which stars caused magazines to fly off the rack over the years…(From his viewpoint)
