A source tells E! News the couple have been fighting and just needed to take a break from each other because it wasn’t working out.
The couple were last seen at the Grammy Awards together. No word yet from the Britney Spears camp.

Britney Spears has been banned from talking to someone famous – Lindsay Lohan, her former party pal. I think a lot of people are concerned Brit will fall back into her old ways after making such a great comeback last year. Spears family also reportedly tried to keep Lindsay away from Britney after she attended one of Brit’s concerts in London.

Jamie Spears — who’s Britney’s co-conservator, meaning he’s in control of all her affairs — apparently hit the roof when he found out his daughter had been speaking on the phone with the Mean Girls actress.“The trouble started when Lindsay reached out to Britney for advice on getting her career back on track,” a source told American tabloid the National Enquirer. “They simply chatted by phone — but when Britney mentioned it to Jamie, he exploded.
“He instantly phoned Lindsay’s managers and told them he would NOT tolerate further attempts to contact his daughter. “Britney’s so totally humiliated — she feels like she’s 13 again. It’s embarrassing for her that she’s 28 years old, but her dad gets to tell her who her friends will be.“On the other hand, Jamie’s trying to keep what he deems to be bad influences away from his daughter — and Lindsay certainly qualifies.”

Britney Spears lawyers want critical information about her kept away from prying eyes.
According TMZ, her attorneys note that “Photographs and personal information, particularly information of a highly confidential nature (such as personal medical information of Ms. Spears and her children), can potentially reap thousands if not millions of dollars.”
The lawyers want to put her medical records and personal information under lock and key.

Britney Spears ex K-Fed says he’d definitely get married again, following a high profile breakup with pop superstar Britney Spears. The Celebrity Fit Club star is presently in a relationship with college volleyball star Victoria Prince right now . K-Fed told Us, “I gained the extra weight by eating lots of bad foods and not exercising at all.” The extra pounds left him depressed and even left him without motivation to play with his kids. He crested around 230 pounds at his heaviest and told People, “I was borderline obese”.
