MediaTakeOut.com just caught wind of an interesting rumor. According to one of our insiders, Jay Z and Beyonce BOTH decided to change their GOVERNMENT names.
Word is that Jay Z, formerly Shawn Carter is now Shawn Knowles-Carter and Beyonce Knowles is now Beyonce Knowles Carter.
The snitch claims that they decided to keep the “Knowles” name because her parents didn’t have any male children, and Beyonce wanted to make sure that the Knowles name continued.

Bossip – According to a reliable source Tina, whose name was filed as Celestine under court documents, has decided to finally end her marriage with Matthew. As of now the court documents aren’t available to view due to confidentiality but were filed early last month and our source assures us it’s a go. *Beyonce went all out for her husband’s birthday this year. The singer celebrated Jay-Z’s 40th with a 20s-themed fete at Casa de Campo in the Dominican Republic, reports the New York Daily News.
Among the 60-odd guests were Kanye West and girlfriend Amber Rose; Sean “Diddy” Combs and on/off again girlfriend Kim Porter; Alex Rodriguez and girlfriend Kate Hudson; Swizz Beatz and rumored girlfriend Alicia Keys; Warner Music chief Lyor Cohen and designer Tory Burch, plus DJ Cassidy, who spun for the party.
“Diddy gave a toast,” says a source. “Jay-Z’s friends also put together a video saying how much they love him.”
The festivities, which featured synchronized swimmers, fireworks and an impromptu performance of “Empire State of Mind” by Jay-Z and Keys, lasted until 5 a.m. The next day, according to the source, Beyoncé hosted a surf-and-turf brunch for guests at the luxury villa where she and Jay-Z were staying.

BBC = R&B star Beyonce has been announced as US music magazine Billboard’s woman of the year for “inspiring the music business with her success”. The singer, whose latest album was a US number one and spawned a string of hit singles, is also being honoured for her influence on pop culture. Previous recipients of the award have included R&B singer Ciara and country music star Reba McEntire. The singer was spotted teaching Daniel Julez about designer sunglasses as the pair and Beyonce’s mother Tina shopped on Beverly Hills’ Rodeo Drive.Despite Beyonce’s fashionable outfit, she was upstaged by her young nephew, who was wearing a black T-shirt with the logo ‘my auntie rocks’.
Already adapting to the celebrity lifestyle at a tender age, Daniel wore a blue pair of Oakley sunglasses.After perusing the racks of shades in the Ilori boutique in Beverly Hills’ most expensive shopping venue, Beyonce was happy to let Daniel take the lead as he dragged her out of the store.Matching her high fashion environment, the 27-year-old singer was bang on trend in a pair of PVC knee-high gladiator heels and strapless brown playsuit.Notably absent was Daniel’s mother Solange Knowles – Beyonce’s younger sister – so presumably auntie Beyonce had been left in charge for the day.Solange split from Daniel’s father, also called Daniel, in 2007 after three years of marriage.
