According to our sources, Ashton Kutcher and wife Demi Moore were at an after-party on Monday night after his Broadway debut, when someone poked fun of the showbiz couple’s age difference. A witness says, “Demi and Jennifer Aniston were happily sitting together in the VIP when this guy starting really obviously making fun of Demi and things like her relationship with a younger man. It went on for quite a while. “Ashton heard it and approached him. At first he thought the guy wasn’t serious and was like ‘what the?’ He then realized he was serious. Ashton lost it.” Sources say a massive verbal fight ensued between Ashton and the guest, as Demi looked on, embarrassed over the whole situation. The duo stormed out via the back entrance along with friend Jennifer Aniston.

Hollywood.com – The actor had just completed shooting on upcoming action film Personal Effects when he signed on for comedy Spread, about a serial womaniser who sleeps his way into a life of privilege.But Kutcher faced a race against time to drop the extra 10 pounds of weight he had put on and was forced to dramatically cut his diet to slim down for Spread.He tells People.com, “I had just played a movie where I played a wrestler, so I had to lose like 10 pounds and stop eating and take care of myself. I really cut back to a meal a day. I was probably down to 175 pounds.”

Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore went on Twitter to share their emergency landing with us. The private plane they were headed to New York “had to do an emergency landing. Engine over heated. Fire trucks everywhere. Good times.” His wife Demi chimed in, “Yep, it is always an adventure in Vegas, emergency landing and all!” Ashton later tweeted, “Happy to be alive. Let’s celebrate. Party tonight at Turtle Bay Bar in NYC.”He even added that he’d splurge for half-off drinks for Twitter followers who mentioned a secret password at the door. A rep for McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas said that around 1 p.m., word came through that a private plane had asked to land at McCarran due to engine problems. He said the plane landed around 1:05 p.m. and took off about an hour later. The rep could not confirm who was aboard the plane.

Parade – Ashton Kutcher is 31, looks 18, and is married to a 46-year-old woman—which may prove that age doesn’t mean anything. The handsome guy from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, regularly strolls the red carpet with wife Demi Moore—making him a full-fledged Hollywood insider. But somehow he manages to keep things in perspective.
When we decided to put Ashton on the cover of this week’s PARADE, he picked up the phone to call us directly. He doesn’t have a publicist right now—which for most stars is unthinkable. After all, how will everyone know how important you are?
He did, however, have some clever ideas for the photo shoot.
“I’m interested in how we all have a good and bad side,” he said. “Maybe it would be funny to see me reading a diet manual while eating. Or recycling while I’m driving a Hummer. We all intend to do the right thing, but get caught in our ways.”
Poking a hole in pretense was also the concept behind his MTV show Punk’d. In one episode, he made Frankie Muniz think his $250,000 Porsche had been stolen. Another time, Justin Timberlake was told he owed $900,000 in back taxes, and his favorite stuff would be repossessed. Stars would turn tearful or furious, and then Ashton would appear, all goofy and happy, to tell them it was just a joke.
This Candid Camera for the ego-driven somehow didn’t get Ashton driven out of Hollywood. He pulled it off in the grand tradition of other practical jokesters before him, like George Clooney or Paul Newman. But viewers got the other message he was sending: Hey guys, get off your high horses.
At the PARADE photo shoot, Ashton, who does camera commercials, cheerfully took pictures of himself. He gleefully made fun of the “burden” celebs have when people ask them for autographs by signing his own face. Funny. Clever. And a terrific cover for Parade.
