That’s Fit – She may not fit into her Daisy Duke shorts these days, but Jessica Simpson looks hotter than ever according to her younger sister, Ashlee Simpson-Wentz.
In the December issue of Women’s Health magazine, Ashlee Simpson-Wentz says, “My sister has an incredible body. I feel sorry for anyone who would judge her, because she’s one sexy lady.” Jessica has taken quite a bit of heat for her curvier figure, from a body-bashing cartoon to the tabloid firestorm the erupted after she was photographed looking noticeably heavier while singing at a chili cookoff.
While Ashlee may think her big sis looks great, Jessica has enlisted the help of her former personal trainer who whipped her body into shape for “The Dukes of Hazzard.” Apparently she’s working hard because in a recent tweet to her coach, Jessica said, “Why am I still hurting from our workout earlier? I’m getting old! See you tomorrow with a pouty face and sore buns.”
Meanwhile, Ashlee is receiving plenty of her own support about her post-baby figure stating that her hubby “isn’t worried about stretch marks” and he “always makes me feel sexy.” Even so, the new mom is reportedly working out

PEOPLE – Where does a crazy Melrose Place character go after she dies? Apparently, the Windy City by way of the Great White Way.
According to reports, Ashlee Simpson-Wentz, 25, isn’t taking a break after getting axed from the prime-time soap. Instead, she’s set to play Roxie Hart in the Broadway production of Chicago, starting in December for six weeks, Gossip Cop reports.
It’s not an unfamiliar role. Simpson-Wentz played the role in the London run of the musical. It would, however, be her Broadway debut.

Ashlee Simpson’s diva behavior got her booted from the CW hit ‘Melrose Place’, a source close to one cast member tells Fox411.
“Ashlee was kicked off ‘Melrose Place’ because she was a total diva on set, late all the time, and deeply disliked by fellow cast members,” the insider spills. “It created a lot of discord among the cast.”

“She could barely act.”But not being able to act and being a diva hardly set Simpson apart from many of the venerable primetime soap’s stars, both current and past. The insider tells Fox411 it was the producer’s need to bring in one of those past stars that also hastened Simpson’s swan song.
The source says producers desperately wanted Heather Locklear to reprise her role, but couldn’t afford her salary demands without cutting someone.
There’s a rumor that Ashlee Simpson is developing feelings for one of her Melrose Place co-stars. As many of you know Ashlee Simpson is married to Pete Wentz for a long time but sources say Ashlee was getting a little too touchy feely with Colin Egglesfield in between takes on September 23rd on the Melrose Place set.

Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz will be on an episode of The Discovery Channel’s The Dog Whisperer. This was obviously taped before baby Bronx was born. Actual episode airs December 28th.
PEOPLE – Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and husband Pete Wentz welcomed a son Thursday night, PEOPLE confirms. Bronx Mowgli Wentz weighed 7 lbs., 11 oz., and was 20 1/2 inches long. “Ashlee, Pete and baby Bronx are all healthy and happy, and thank everyone for their well wishes!” a spokesperson tells PEOPLE. Simpson-Wentz, 24, and the Fall Out Boy bassist, 29, announced her pregnancy in May, a few weeks after their opulent Alice’s Adventures In Wonderland-themed wedding.
“I would love to have a big family one day,” Simpson-Wentz told PEOPLE at the time. Added Wentz: “A big soccer team or a band!” And, as her dad, Joe Simpson, recently put it to PEOPLE: “The day she found out she was pregnant, she became a woman.” Wentz, meanwhile, has been leaning on rocker pal Joel Madden – dad to 9-month-old Harlow with girlfriend Nicole Richie – for tips on fatherhood. “Joel gives me advice,” Wentz recently told PEOPLE. “[It's] been really awesome for me to go to another person my age.” Richie and Harlow were guests at Simpson-Wentz’s Winnie the Pooh-themed baby shower on Nov. 1.
Wentz also has another kind of baby on the way: Fall Out Boy’s third album, Folie A Deux, will be released on Dec. 16.
As Ashlee Simpson heads into the eighth month of her pregnancy she has swapped figure hugging dresses for an altogether more demure look.
