The “High School Musical” co-stars, who have dated since 2005, have long been subjected to speculation about their love life, with Efron denying in February that he’d proposed to Hudgens during a promotional trip in Japan.Now the pair has been forced to speak out again after they were subjected to another round of rum ours about an engagement this weekend, after a British tabloid reported that Hudgens had hinted about a possible wedding date.Representatives for both Efron and Hudgens maintain that while the couple is still together, reports of an imminent marriage ceremony are “not true.”
