Singer/songwriter Lionel Richie wants his pop star pals to sing at his daughter Nicole’s wedding. He is planning to invite musicians to perform at Nicole and her fiance Joel Madden’s reception. A source told Heat magazine: “All of the biggest names in music are getting an invite. Lionel is asking some to sing. He wants the reception to be a big concert.” Expected to attend are Tina Turner, Rihanna, 50 Cent and Leona Lewis. 60-year-old Lionel intends to serenade the newlyweds himself. Nicole and Joel have two children, two-year-old daughter Harlow and six-month-old son Sparrow.

Nicole Richie’s dad, Lionel, is thrilled his daughter is tying the knot. He told Us, “They have given me two beautiful grandchildren, Harlow and Sparrow, and have proven to be great parents.”

Congratulations to Nicole and Joel, they’re officially getting married.
Nicole made the announcement on an episode of David Letterman which is set to air on Friday. Photographers snapped the celeb showing off her ring. Fiancee Joel Madden tweeted “Yep, Im engaged. Very happy. Yeah we’ve been engaged for a while so you’re kind of late on that. But, thanks for the hoopla all the same.” Nicole and Joel share two kids together, Harlow, 2 and, Sparrow, 5 months.

AP -Nicole Richie has been admitted to a Los Angeles hospital and is being treated for pneumonia. Her representative says she’s doing well.
Publicist Nicole Perna said Wednesday the 28-year-old actress checked herself into Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
Richie was in a Los Angeles courtroom earlier this week after asking for a restraining order against two celebrity photographers. A judge granted that request.
Richie costarred with Paris Hilton on the television show “The Simple Life” and is the daughter of singer Lionel Richie. She has since become a fashion and jewelry designer and occasional actress.
Richie gave birth to a son, Sparrow James Midnight Madden, in September. She and her partner, rocker Joel Madden, have a daughter, Harlow, who turns 2 in January.

AP — A judge has granted Nicole Richie’s request for a restraining order barring two celebrity photographers from coming close to her or her children.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Carol Boas Goodson approved Richie’s petition for a three-year restraining order against the paparazzi after a court hearing Monday.Richie, 28, appeared in court, accompanied by rocker Joel Madden. The couple have two children together.Goodson granted the orders against Eduardo Arrivabene and Ivon Emilio Melo Miguel, who agreed to stay 50 yards away from the television personality. Miguel apologized to Richie on the stand, and said in court he would not take pictures of her if she didn’t want him to.
Both Richie and Madden said they didn’t want either man to take pictures of them anymore.Arrivabene and Miguel declined to comment. Richie, Madden and their attorney, Mark Geragos, also declined to comment after the hearing.
