Starpulse – Miley Cyrus has split from her actor boyfriend Liam Hemsworth after an argument at her Los Angeles home, according to a tabloid report. The stars, who met on the set of their film The Last Song in 2009, were allegedly living together at the singer/actress’ new mansion in Toluca Lake but Hemsworth is said to have moved his belongings out following a fight last month.The National Enquirer reports Cyrus was jealous of Hemsworth’s rapid rise to fame after landing a top role opposite Anthony Hopkins in the forthcoming Arabian Nights, while the Aussie star has reportedly tired of the 17-year-old’s parents interfering in their relationship.A source tells the National Enquirer, “The result was a vicious fight – and Liam bolted. He said he’s tired of her folks’ interference and that Miley’s jealous that his film career has taken off.” Hemsworth, 20, is said to have since moved back in with his brother Chris at the Hollywood apartment they previously shared. And Cyrus herself appears to have confirmed the romance is on hiatus – when asked by the tabloid about their relationship status, she is quoted as saying, “(We) are on a break.” The insider adds, “Miley, her family and all her baggage are too much for him to handle.”

UsMag – Don’t expect to see Miley Cyrus scouting any college campuses this summer. “My sister went to MTSU in Nashville, so I’d probably want to be there with all my friends, but I’m not gonna go to college right now,” Cyrus, 17, told Q100’s Bert Show Monday morning. “I am a firm believer that you can go back at any age you want, because my grandma went back to college at 62 years old.” The “Can’t Be Tamed” singer is growing up in more ways than one, even if her critics still see her as a little girl. “No one ever wants to see someone grow up,” she complains. “It’s like when Hilary Duff started growing up off the Disney Channel. Everyone thought she was anorexic and she did this and that. It’s just because she grew up! She didn’t look like a 12-year-old anymore.”
And though she’s beginning to step out of Hannah Montana’s shadow, Cyrus doesn’t understand the controversy surrounding her latest music video (in which she wears a $25,000 corset).”My song is clearly about breaking free and being out of a cage and being able to be truly who you are,” Cyrus says. “If you see Hannah Montana through that, or are mad because you don’t, turn on Disney Channel. That’s where my show is. My show is still on the air. I’m not done doing Hannah Montana…your true fans are gonna love the artist when they express themselves.”

AP – Wal-Mart said Wednesday it is pulling an entire line of Miley Cyrus-brand necklaces and bracelets from its shelves after tests performed for The Associated Press found the jewelry contained high levels of the toxic metal cadmium.

In a statement issued three hours after AP’s initial report of its findings, Wal-Mart said it would remove the jewelry, made exclusively for the world’s largest retailer, while it investigates. The company issued the statement along with Cyrus and Max Azria, the designer who developed the jewelry for the 17-year-old “Hannah Montana” star.

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. had learned of cadmium in the Miley Cyrus jewelry, as well as in an unrelated line of bracelet charms, back in February, based on an earlier round of testing conducted at AP’s request, but had continued selling the items. It said as recently as last month that it would be too difficult to test products already on its shelves.

In its statement, Wal-Mart did not say whether it would also remove the bracelet charms.
