Nick Cannon has joked he and his wife Mariah Carey plan to call all their children after her even if they’re boys.
The DJ married the singer in 2008 following a whirlwind romance. They have been open about their desire to start a family, and have recently been plagued by rumours Mariah is expecting. Nick took to his Twitter page early this week to blast the rumours, saying it was unfair on his wife to keep bringing up alleged pregnancies.
Nick has now discussed the topic on his New York radio show.
He cheekily claimed the couple already have already chosen baby names, laughing they are going to copy boxer George Foreman, who named all his sons after himself.
“We’re gonna do it like George Foreman,” he said. “We’re gonna name all of our kids Mariah no matter if they’re boys or girls. … Mariah No. 1, Boy Mariah, Man Mariah, Tall Mariah. It’s gonna be a house full of people named Mariah.”
He added when Mariah, 41, does have some happy news to share, she will tell her family and friends before the public.
He finds it strange the media keep expecting an announcement, and thinks the pressure on his wife is far too great.
“My wife has been in this business for a long time and dealt with so many things, she knows how to handle herself. She’s a very, very strong woman, probably the strongest woman I know, and I love her dearly. So, when she tells me something, I’ll tell y’all, probably after I tell my mama,” he said.
“Of course, being married you want to start a family. … But you can’t say, ‘Well yeah, next week, Thursday, on the 4th, we gonna do this, and then we plan on having the child.’ You know, you gotta leave all that stuff to God.”

-WENN-Jet-setting star MARIAH CAREY flew her personal vet from Los Angeles to New York to help her dog deliver puppies – but the singer missed the birth because she was in London.
The 40 year old jetted her own animal expert to the Big Apple earlier this month (Nov09) to help her beloved Jack Russell give birth, but the pooch waited until Carey was out of town before going into labour.
She was in London for a series of promotional events – and learned about the puppy delivery in between TV interviews.
She says, “My puppy just had a puppy. She’s the most adorable Jack Russell terrier. We were worried because she was little, so she had to have a C-section and I missed the whole thing!
“I flew this vet, a lovely lady, all the way from L.A. to N.Y. and back and forth and the dog didn’t have the puppies. I wanted to see the birth so, of course, when we got here (London) she had her babies.”

“Why is it hard to get out of it?” King continued

“No you don’t have to, but it is hard to get out?” he asked again.
“For me, to really get out it was difficult because there was a connection that was not only a marriage but a business thing where the person was in control of my life,” Carey added.
