Other Stars On Haiti on the Red Carpet
- Mickey Rourke said he’s already sent his “boots” as a contribution to support Haiti, but he’d like to hang on to his custom-made David August suit for a while.
- Director James Cameron says he has plans to donate proceeds from Avatar’s box office profits to help victims of the Haitian earthquake. “I challenged 20th Century Fox to step up and match me with some money, ” he said. “and it turned out to be a significant amount of money that went down there. And I’m going to have that same conversation with them.”

Daily Mail UK – There is more than a decade between them, but Cindy Crawford and Elisabetta Canalis both have the same idea when it comes to dressing for the red carpet. The brunettes each chose black floor-length gowns for the Fantastic Mr Fox premiere on the opening night of the London Film Festival. Their matching dresses were slashed to the waist on the right, displaying the long slender limbs of their wearers. And the two even accessorised in a similar way, with black square clutches and high heels.

Italian TV presenter Elisabetta, 31, was accompanying her boyfriend George Clooney, who voices the lead character in the animated movie. The 48-year-old is a close friend of supermodel Cindy, 43.Joing them at the premiere were Sophie Dahl and Jamie Cullum. Model Sophie wore white ballet pumps with her red dress, while singer Jamie stuck to a sober suit.

PEOPLE – Believe it or not, perpetual bachelor George Clooney sees lots of children in his future. They’re just not his own. “I’m going to adopt some of Brad Pitt’s kids. I owe him a few,” he joked at Wednesday’s press conference in London for his new flick Fantastic Mr. Fox, based on Roald Dahl’s book and set to open in the U.S. Nov. 25. The notorious ladies’ man, 48, mostly recently spotted on the arm of Italian TV presenter Elisabetta Canalis, says he feels like he’s skipped from the dad stage straight to granddad status. He says this seems especially so considering the fact that in the stop-motion animated Fantastic Mr. Fox he voices the role of the father to the character played by 29-year-old Jason Schwartzman (who recently married clothing designer Brady Cunningham). “Just having Jason here next to me makes me feel like a father,” he quipped. “He just got married, so I feel like a grandfather. I’m jumping right into it. I will bring lots of kids to the red carpet.”

OK! George, 48, enjoyed a day in the Italian countryside with latest lady love, model Elisabetta Canalis

and fellow celebrity couple Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber.

Good thing he wears a helmet! Now George Clooney just needs some sporty gloves to match as the handsome actor has broken his hand in a
car accident of sorts, his rep confirms to PEOPLE. According to European media reports, Clooney was riding his Harley Davidson around
Lake Lugano, at the border of Italy and Switzerland, with current squeeze Elisabetta Canalis when the accident occurred a couple weeks
ago. His rep, however, tells PEOPLE what really happened. “There was an accident and he did break his hand,” Clooney’s rep Stan Rosenfield
said Thursday. “He was not riding a motorcycle, it was not in Switzerland … He was on his property in Italy and he shut the car
door on his hand.”

George Clooney is gearing up for a legal war in Italy — claiming invasive paparazzi climbed over the wall of his Italian home and shot a topless photo of a 13-year-old girl changing in one of his guest rooms. The photographer also took shots of Clooney and his girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis enjoying private moments in the yard of his estate. The photos were published in two magazines — and in a statement to TMZ, Clooney says he’s gunning to sue both the mags and the photog who took the pictures.

“We’re suing two magazines AND a photographer. I don’t know about the law in the United States but in Italy it’s illegal for photographers to climb over my wall and to take long lens pictures of a 13-year-old girl in her bedroom.I draw the line of privacy at that.”
