IS MISCHA BARTON LYING?

Looks like Mischa Barton didn’t have a meltdown, she actually had a wisdom teeth ‘meltdown’. I had the SAME exact thing as she did.

Post Wisdom Teeth Extraction gone awry…is a miserable and painful experience and I feel for her.

My instance didn’t necessarily lead to a stay in a psychiatric hospital for a couple days, but it did lead to excruciating pain, a swollen mouth and needing to take time off after my first surgery. Then an infection, and then needing to take painkillers, then, a second surgery after the first surgery went wrong. Then needing to take painkillers again. And not having painkillers would have been excruciatingly painful.

It makes sense why she would be in a lot of pain. My only question is her need to be in a psychiatric ward, instead of in a hospital…

I think she’s lying through her post wisdom extracted teeth….

THR – The production start on CW’s new drama “The Beautiful Life” has been pushed back by a week, from July 22 to July 31.And despite the widely publicized recent meltdown and hospitalization of co-star Mischa Barton, sources close to the show say the reason for the delay is far more mundane: Some of the sets for the show were not completed on time. Entertainmentwise – Mischa Barton was put under psychiatric hold after a three-day drugs binge, according to a US report.The former OC star was “so high on coke following a marathon three-day bender” that friends feared she was a suicide risk, sources told The New York Post. As we reported, Mischa was taken from her Los Angeles home by police last Wednesday and committed involuntarily to a psychiatric ward at Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre.”She’s in very bad shape,” a source told the newspaper.”She’s running out of money and can’t find love, so now she is looking for a good time to escape her misery. She is on a downward spiral. “She is a mess. She is a suicidal, uninsurable mess.” A source described how a bloated Mischa “seemed to be stumbling around poolside and at one point was topless” at a hotel just a day before she was sectioned.Mischa’s publicist has released a statement confirming that the 23-year-old actress will remain in hospital.

Hollywood.com – Mischa Barton was placed on involuntary psychiatric hold after calling cops to her Hollywood home on Wednesday night, according to reports.The actress was taken to a mystery location by officers who “assisted her with a medical issue,” a Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson has confirmed.Her representative Craig Schneider tells People.com,

 ”Police were involved due to Ms. Barton’s celebrity status, to safely transfer her to medical treatment as per doctor’s orders. (She’s) OK and resting.”

Now Access Hollywood is alleging that LAPD officers placed Barton under a 5150 hold, reserved for individuals who present a danger to themselves or others, are gravely disabled or suffer from a mental disorder.Britney Spears was subjected to the same hold after her meltdown back in January 2008.As a result of Barton’s health issue, she has cancelled her appearance at the premiere of her new movie Homecoming.

Daily Mail – LAPD officers arrived at the actress’s home yesterday afternoon after responding to a non-emergency call.The 23-year-old was then escorted from her West Hollywood apartment to an unknown location.A police spokesperson confirmed that patrol officers were sent to Barton’s home around 3pm on Wednesday to assist her with a medical issue.They added that the LAPD are ‘currently assisting’ Barton with ‘a medical issue’ and no other individuals were involved and no one was arrested.Representatives for Barton have so far been unavailable for comment.Best known for her role on axed drama series the O.C, Barton will star in the upcoming Beautiful Life on CW.
