Kate Moss is holding an annual Easter Bash, an Alice in Wonderland theme event that promises to have a lot of celebrities – but not Sienna Miller.

She’s banned from showing up.

The reason? Sienna’s ex Rhys Ifans, one of Kate’s good friends, will be there. Sienna and Rhys broke up in 2008.

The party will include an Easter egg hunt and evening party for adults, according to The Bosh.

Sienna’s boyfriend Jude Law is invited – but despite urging by friends, Kate insists Jude come without Sienna.

Miu Miu - Paris Fashion Week S/S 2010
UsMag – Kate Moss needs a new motto.

After she told Women’s Wear Daily that she lived by the slogan, “nothing tastes as good as skinny feels,” the model, 35, has been attacked by eating disorder groups for her “dangerous” viewpoint.
“Comments like this make it even more difficult for young people struggling with an eating disorder,” said Mary George, a representative of a British eating disorder charity called Beat. “She probably doesn’t realize how dangerous such comments can be.”

In fact, that exact comment is a slogan posted on many Web sites that encourage girls not to eat and pushes those with anorexia or bulimia over the edge.

Model Katie Green also considered her statement “shocking and irresponsible,” especially because Moss has a seven-year-old daughter, Lila Grace.

“Kate is a mother herself and how would parents with children suffering from eating disorders feel reading something like this?” said Green, who has been campaigning to stop the use of ultra-thin models in runway shows. “[Kate] should really have thought before she spoke like most of us do before giving interviews.”

Moss’ modeling agency, Storm, however, said her words were misconstrued.

“This was part of a longer answer Kate gave during a wider-ranging interview, which has unfortunately been taken out of context and completely misrepresented,” the agency said in a statement. “For the record, Kate does not support this as a lifestyle choice.”

WORLDS RICHEST MODEL

Luxist – Kate Moss is set to become the world’s richest model thanks to a lucrative new deal she’s about to ink with British mogul Sir Philip Green, shown with Kate above, and TV producer extraordinaire Simon Cowell. The 35-year-old supermodel is joining forces with the two men on a new $1.6 billion global multi-faceted entertainment company. Green owns the Topshop brand which Moss recently collaborated with for a new collection. Moss will direct the style and image of the as-yet-unnamed empire, as well as give fashion-related branding advice, under the terms of the deal which could net her up to $80 million based on profit-sharing arrangements, the London Daily Mail reports. The sum would double Moss’ fortune giving her a net worth of about $160 million, the paper notes. In essence the plan is to merchandise the hell out of Cowell’s hit TV shows both here and abroad. The prospect of Moss getting involved in the music side of the business has also been floated.

Supermodel Kate Moss has rekindled her romance with rocker Jamie Hince just two weeks after they split. The couple reportedly called off their romance last month in an alleged row over Moss’ party-loving lifestyle and her desire to have another baby.

But Moss was spotted enjoying a lunch date with The Kills star in upmarket London department store Selfridges on Friday – their first appearance together in public since their break-up. A source close to the pair says, “They’ve sorted their problems and are as happy as they’ve ever been. They have been back together for a good week or so.” Moss is mum to five year old daughter Lila Grace from her previous relationship with publishing boss Jefferson Hack.

Marc Quinn with Siren, 2008

Marc Quinn said he wanted to sculpt the ‘ideal beauty’

BBC – A 50kg solid gold statue of model Kate Moss has been unveiled at the British Museum, in London. The £1.5m sculpture, entitled Siren, is by artist Marc Quinn and is one of several contemporary sculptures in the exhibition Statuephilia. Each work has been sited in a different gallery within the museum, placed with items from its permanent collection. Quinn’s sculpture is said to be the largest gold statue created since the time of Ancient Egypt.

‘Ideal beauty’ Described by the museum as an “Aphrodite of our times”, it sits in the Museum’s Nereid Gallery, alongside its statues of famous Greek beauties. Quinn, whose most famous work was Alison Lapper Pregnant, has said of using Moss as a subject: “I thought the next thing to do would be to make a sculpture of the person who’s the ideal beauty of the moment.

The museum hopes it will remind visitors of its diverse collection

“But even Kate Moss doesn’t live up to the image.” Other artists in the exhibition include Damien Hirst and Antony Gormley. Hirst has addressed his fascination with death by filling the historic wall cases of the Enlightenment Gallery with 200 specially created skulls.

Nine-metre wingspan

Gormley’s Case for an Angel I will fills the entire front hall of the museum. The work – a precursor to his celebrated public sculpture, Angel of the North – is raised high on a plinth. It boasts a nine-metre wingspan. Ron Mueck’s Mask II, a self-portrait of the artist sleeping, is in the heart of the Living and Dying: Wellcome Trust Gallery with the museum’s monumental Maoi.

British Museum modern collections co-ordinator Philip Attwood said: “Perhaps because the British Museum is often celebrated as a museum of antiquities, it is not always realised that its collections also include a broad range of contemporary works from around the world.” Statuephilia: Contemporary Sculptors at the British Museum is open to the public from Saturday until 25 January.

Art appeal

Meanwhile, The National Portrait Gallery has launched a public appeal to raise £200,000 for Marc Quinn’s self-portrait head cast made from frozen blood. The gallery wants to buy the fourth head in a series, made in 2006, which is being sold by London’s White Cube gallery for £350,000. The Art Fund has offered a £100,000 grant and the National Portrait Gallery has found £50,000 from its own resources, leaving it to raise the remainder by December 31. Quinn has made a new cast, using eight or nine pints of his own blood, every five years to document his ageing since 1991.

So if Kate Moss was never anorexic, then the sunken eyes and emaciated body look must’ve come purely from the cocaine and heroin?

During the 1990s, Kate Moss weighed an estimated 100 pounds, prompting NYC graffiti-ists to scrawl “Feed me” across her midriff on Calvin Klein ads at bus stops. Now, the 5′ 7″ model, 34, admits she was too skinny. “I was never anorexic, so I was never that skinny,” she tells September’s Interview. “I was never bony-bony. But I remember thinking, ‘I don’t want to be this skinny.’” She says when she was “doing shows and flying economy … nobody ever fed me. Or I’d be staying in hotels so cheap that by the time I’d get in, there wasn’t any room service.

“I didn’t eat for a long time. Not on purpose,” she admits. “You’d be on shoots with bad food or get on a plane, and the food would be so disgusting you couldn’t eat it.”You go to a show, and there’s no food at all, so if you’re doing shows back to back, you can forget eating,” Moss adds. “I remember standing up in the bath one day, and there was a mirror in front of me, and I was so thin! I
hated it. I never liked being that skinny.”

She also sounded off against breast implants, calling them “awful.” “So many of my friends have had them, and they’ve gone wrong,” Moss says, adding that one of her pals “had one that sort of moved up to her shoulder.” Still, she says, “if I got saggy, like the sacks some women have after they have children, I’d have them done. I’m not against them….” Over the years, Moss says she has come to accept her body. But it took her some time. When she was 15, photographer Corrine Day used to make her pose topless as training. “I’d cry,” Moss says. “After five years, you get used to it and you’re not self-conscious anymore. “Bowlegs. Crooked teeth. That is what makes you different from everyone else,” she adds. “But when I was 15, I was like, ‘Oh no, I don’t want to be different … I want to look like Cindy Crawford!’”

Meanwhile,  earlier this month, Kate Moss was snapped sporting what could be a baby bump. The model currently has one daughter Lila Grace.

Below is the entire interview and spread

On Bob Dylan and Frank Sinatra:

Glenn O’Brien: So, Kate, have you met everyone yet?

Kate: Almost. Well, not everyone!

GO: Who haven’t you met?

KM: Well… I have met almost everyone I’ve wanted to meet. How about you?

GO: I haven’t really met Bob Dylan.

KM: I’ve met Bob Dylan. We did one of those nonhandshake handshakes. I was with all
guys , and he shook hands with all of them, and then they said “And this is Kate,” and I put my hand out, and he didn’t put his hand out. It was one of those. We finally did shake. And then I fainted!

GO: From meeting Bob Dylan? What a fan!

KM: Well, I met Frank Sinatra and Bob Dylan in the space of 15 minutes. Frank Sinatra kissed me on the lips.

GO: That’s why they called him the Chairman of the Board.

KM: He kissed me on the lips. And then he gave me a filterless cigarette. And then I met
Bob Dylan. I came off all lightheaded and had to go sit on his dressing-room steps.

GO: I would faint if I smoked a Camel.

KM: Maybe it was the cigarette and nothing to do with the legends.

GO: So did Frank still have all his marbles?

KM: Oh, definitely. There was still a twinkle in his blue eyes. Yeah, major. I was with Johnny [Depp] at the time. And Frank came over to me and got all of his security to close in so Johnny couldn’t get to me. I was sitting down having a cigarette, and he just walked in the room, and he spotted me and made a beeline to me. So we were encircled by security in this backstage area, and he’s like, “How are we doing, little Lady?” And I said, “Happy Birthday, Frank!” and I want to shake his hand, and he just lunged at me.

GO: Wow.

KM: I know. And then I smoked the cigarette and went all light-headed. He was fabulous. It was his 80th-birthday party in LA.

GO: Did Frank sing for you? “Stranger in the Night”?

KM: No, he just did his concert. He was so great.

GO: Fainting was exactly the thing to do after you’d been kissed by Frank. You always know what to do, Kate. You must be this repository of wisdom.
