DAVID Beckham is set to follow in his wife Victoria’s fashion designing footsteps — by launching his own suits collection. “Victoria has been trying to persuade him to do it for a while and he’s finally succumbed,” a source told Britain’s Daily Star newspaper. “She’s reassured him that he has an eye for fashion. “David is hoping to produce a range of man’s couture clothing of fitted suits, smart daywear and an evening range — and Victoria thinks it will go down a storm.”

Star – Soccer star David Beckham is following his wife Victoria (Posh Spice) to TV land. Beckham will star in a 13 episode series called David Beckham’s Soccer USA, produced by American Idol creator Simon Fuller. British TV personality Natalie Pinkham will host Beckham’s new show which will feature in-game action and behind-the-scenes footage. The show will document Becham’s first season with the Los Angeles Galaxy. It is set to premiere next Wednesday on Fox Soccer Channel.

: Coming to America, only drew in about 5 million viewers. However, according to a Star poll, 48% of our readers tuned in and 43% percent those readers liked Posh more after watching the special. Interestingly enough, 61% of the Star respondents said Victoria should not get her own reality show. (If you missed Monday’s show, tune into NBC on Thursday at 10pm/ET or Bravo at 11:30pm/ET for an encore!) Posh will just have to settle for living the lux life in Hollywood. Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, along with Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith, are throwing the Beckhams a “Welcome to America” party on Sunday, according to The New York Post.

WENN – DAVID BECKHAM was denied the chance to get animated for THE SIMPSONS – after TV producers deemed the soccer star wasn’t famous enough for American audiences.
The sports ace, who plays for the U.S. club Los Angeles Galaxy, was in talks to appear as a yellow character on the long-running cartoon but executive producer Al Jean eventually snubbed him after deciding the cameo wouldn’t work. [Wait!Theres Tons More…]

David Beckham was booed last night in his first home game with the Los Angeles Galaxy. At one point, Beckham confronted a fan at halftime of his team’s 2-2 tie with AC Milan. The English star returned after missing half of the Major League Soccer season while on a five-month loan to the Italian club. Some of the fans homemade included: “Go home fraud”, with a red slash through his No. 23 jersey number. Another said, “23: Repent,” while another read, “Hey Becks, Here Before You, Here After You, Here Despite You.” Another read, “Is evil something u are…or something u do.” At halftime, Beckham walked toward the L.A. Riot Squad section and motioned to a fan to come closer. A man jumped down from the seats and was subdued by security before being taken away.

While David, 34, revealed his tanned, tattooed torso and lean legs, the uber-slim Victoria donned a metallic gray two-piece and wrapped her hair in a towel. Not normally one for flashing her bikini body, the 35-year-old former Spice Girl then covered up in a matching sarong to rub suncream on David’s back.In the past the former singer has complained that she looked ‘really awful naked’. She has also described the toll pregnancy has taken on her shape, claiming: ‘There are loads of things I don’t like about my body. I’ve got so much saggy skin on my stomach.’Setting off to explore one of the idyllic nearby islands, the couple even managed to take a few snaps for the family album before returning to their £2,000-a-night villa at an eco spa resort on a private island.
