Obama’s does Leno, Letterman and now Lopez…George Lopez Debuts This Week on TBS…
I don’t know what to say – this one sounds like one of the most rediculous things I’ve ever heard a President do. He is a weird fish.
He helped a hollywood campaign supporter’s - pilot get picked up by a network and turned into a tv series (debuting tonight).
That supporter – George Lopez.
George Lopez was shooting a talk show pilot, hoping to get picked up by one of the cable networks – TNT, Bravo, Lifetime, HBO…
Obama graciously agrees to help his campaign donor, George Lopez, by taking time out of the president’s busy schedule to film scenes for the pilot which was then shopped around to the cable netlets.
In a clip shown during a Tuesday meeting of the Television Critics Association, the comedian jokingly begs for a cabinet spot from the president.
Obama lightly brushes him off, saying: “George, you need to change late night. That’s the kind of change I can believe in.”
TBS loved it.
In fact, the Obama scenes were turned into TBS promos and commercials for the show…
That’s just great exposure for Obama….good. good. good.

Barack Obama – Rediculous. Outrageous. Narcissistic. ‘Selectively Friendly’ (were u a major donor or not??). Infuriating. He probably lies in bed thinking of ways to stay in the limelight — and the benefits of that work has spread to his family

Also, he’s about rewarding the people who rewarded him such as Kal Penn.
Kal Penn, the star of Epic Movie is now a director of White House communications, and he got there because he was the go to celebrity when it came to speaking about Obama on the campaigns behalf. He did a youtube interview for the campaign website, and if you were MSNBC or CNN looking to book a celebrity, Kal Penn was your man, always one of the most easily accessible – fast, good on camera, and availability, always.
The source , who has visited the White House. also tells me Obama ‘wouldn’t come near you ‘ if you didn’t have something to offer him, or weren’t important… or probably …if you weren’t part of ‘a larger story angle’ that would portray him as compassionate or some bullcrap…
