From Bild.de – Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie can both proudly say “ich bin ein Berliner” as the celebrity couple have settled into a lakeside mansion in the German capital for the next 90 days.
Angelina (33), Brad (44), and their six children landed at Berlin’s Tempelhof airport on Tuesday afternoon to move into the swanky ‘Palais Parkschloss’ house on the shores of the Wannsee lake on the outskirts of Berlin.
Hollywood superstar Brad Pitt is set to begin work on the new Quentin Tarantino movie, ‘Inglorious Bastards’, in three weeks. Until then, it looks like he and Angelina will be relaxing in Berlin, where the two have been spotted many times before. There should be more than enough room for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie and their brood in the 12,000 square-metre villa. A private helicopter landing pad, dock, and full security system are all part of the package. A staff of 14 body guards are set to patrol the property. Personal chefs and two nannies are also on site to help care for the Brangelina family. With their help, maybe Angelina Jolie will be able to handle her new job as mum,which she has reportedly been struggling with.
The glamorous couple’s new Berlin residence has a star-studded past. In 2001 actor Steven Seagal (58) rented out the same villa for two months and caused thousands of dollars worth of damage.
Since then, the mansion has been revamped but who knows what condition it will be in when Brangelina and their brood take off again. After all, with six kids, there’s bound to be some damage…

Angelina Jolie is struggling to cope following the birth of her two-month-old twins Vivienne and Knox, according to new reports. The mother of six has been holed up at the Château Miraval in Provence, France, since the birth and has not been seen save for a family photo shoot last month. Sources claim the Lara Croft star is exhausted by the sleepless nights and has called in doctors over concerns for her newborns’ health.
The babies are said by the National Enquirer to be suffering from colic, a common but largely unexplained condition that causes repeated episodes of excessive and inconsolable crying. Meanwhile insiders told America’s In Touch magazine that their constant state of distress has caused Angelina to slip into ‘depression mode’, prompting fears she may be suffering post-natal depression.

Two paparazzi in camouflage gear scuffled with bodyguards of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt after they were found hiding on the grounds of the Hollywood stars’ French estate, the couple’s security chief said on Friday.
Tony Webb, head of the team guarding the Chateau Miraval estate where the couple are staying following the birth of their twins earlier this month, said the incident took place on Thursday afternoon.

Us Weekly reports that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt used fertility treatments to conceive twins Knox and Vivienne. A source tells the mag, “They conceived through in vitro fertilization. They both desperately wanted more babies soon.” Angelina chose the $12,000 a pop procedure so “she wouldn’t have to deal with the stress of trying to get pregnant. She could just knock it out.”

The chance of having fraternal twins at Angelina’s age (33) naturally is under 1 percent; with in vitro, the chances are 25 percent. Says Dr. Arthur Wisot of L.A.’s Reproductive Medical Group (who did not treat the couple), “We live in an era of reproductive freedom, so anybody can do anything they want within legal limits.”
The actress chose the procedure (which can cost around $12,000 a pop) so “she wouldn’t have to deal with the stress of trying to get pregnant,” the source tells Us.
“She could just knock it out.” Indeed, Jolie has spoken about her goal to do just that. “If we’re going to have 10 kids, we’d like to raise them while we’re young,” she told Elle U.K. last year. Brad Pitt turns 45 on December 18. A source adds: “They were too impatient.”

BRAD PITT is threatening legal action against any publication which prints photos of his family at home in France.
The move comes after paparazzi photos of the movie star and his family relaxing at their summer retreat hit the internet earlier this week (beg21Jul08), and Pitt learned the bosses of the agency behind the shots were offering the images to tabloids.
Pitt’s lawyer, Yael Holtkamp, has served the agency with a cease and desist order, and claims the photos were “surreptitiously” taken by photographers with “highly powerful telephoto lenses”.
The shots feature Pitt with new mum Angelina Jolie, his parents and their children playing in the garden of their rented French chateau.
Pitt and Jolie chose to spend the summer (08) at Chateau Miraval in Provence because of the privacy and exclusivity the wine resort offered.
Holtkamp insists the publication of the photos violates the family’s privacy rights.
The paparazzi agency behind the photos has already agreed to stop selling them and the images have been removed from its website.

Now the latest on Angelina Jolie – Where is she?
Right now the Paparazzi is trying to pin down Angelina Jolie and family. Jolie left the French hospital where she gave birth to twins last week, the hospital said.
It is unclear if Jolie returned to the luxury house she and actor Brad Pitt, the children’s father, were renting at Correns.
The hospital Issued the following statement on Saturday-
“Mrs Angelina Jolie left the clinic Santa Maria of Foundation Lenval early in the morning, on July 19. The mother and her babies are doing very well,” the Lenval hospital in the southern French city of Nice said
in a statement on its website.
Earlier, as rumours spread that the family had left Nice, Michel Sussmann, the doctor who delivered Jolie’s twins, had refused to confirm their departure.
Journalists waiting for news outside the hospital also recorded the arrival of dozens of baby gifts from around the world.
A security guard was the only sign of life at the estate, with the gates firmly shut.
Oscar winner Jolie, 33, gave birth to twins Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Leon last week, with Pitt by her side.
