The clothes were indeed quite serious — and sophisticated. The first model wore a simple black wrap coat that was belted and black trousers with flat gladiator sandals. Most of the collection was black, which has been the norm on many catwalks at New York Fashion Week.
Adding textural interest, though, has been a trick to making all the black more interesting — and the Olsens mastered it. An A-line carriage skirt in a croc pattern was worn with a slim shirt and a delicate spaghetti-strap camisole on top. Another look featured a buttery leather corset over a flowing, asymmetrical-hem dress.
The only other colors featured were a delicate winter white and an ocean blue.
They’ve set trends with their bold eyewear style and now Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen can step out in their own shades.
The designers are launching an eyewear collection for spring under their luxury label The Row, produced in licensed partnership with Linda Farrow Eyewear.
Retailing from $325 to $390, the collection features four styles: a classic metal aviator, an oversize square frame, vintage-inspired brow-line rims and a pair of round shades taken from the Sixties. TMZ – Defying the Olsen Twin Vacant Stare Code of Stoic Conduct, Ashley Olsen actually showed some human-like behavior and hugged boyfriend Justin Bartha after arriving to LAX last night.

Mary-Kate has been dating NYC artist Nate Lowman for a year, while Ashley has been seeing actor Justin Bartha since May. One would think things in Olsen land would be peachy keen, but it’s not because Nate and Justin can’t stand each other. Although they’re dating twins, the guys are total opposites. National Treasure star Justin comes from a hard-working family, an insider tells Star, and he finds free-spirit Nate to be a flake. Meanwhile, Nate thinks Justin is stuck-up and dull. And when the sisters brought the fellas together for a double date last month, things were bumpy — to say the least. “All their discussions end up in arguments,” says the insider. “Justin and Nate just don’t see eye-to-eye on anything.”
From Webster is My Bitch – Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen are supposedly not getting along again. Apparently it has something to do with Mary Kate being such a drunken whore and Ashley not being one.
“Ashley really wants to be a respected businesswoman and be taken seriously,” says the pal. “MK does too, but she hasn’t been willing to give up her lifestyle and act like an adult for their job.”

NY POST – MARY-Kate and Ashley Olsen always complain they want more privacy – so why are they drawing so much attention to themselves on their quiet West Village block? Residents on West 13th Street are annoyed by the tiny twins’ “military presence.” One neighbor fumed to Page Six, “They are disruptive, intrusive and totally disrespectful.” In May, The Post’s Braden Keil reported the multimillionaires were renting two floors of a brownstone on West 13th for $12,000 a month. A source reported seeing the party princesses “piling out of their gas guzzlers in their little club outfits” in the wee hours.
Since then, it’s only gotten worse. One resident called the frail fashionistas “two spoiled brats” who “change the character of the neighborhood” by posting security guards outside. The goons have even rousted residents of the building from their perches on the brownstone’s stoop so the twins can climb the steps in privacy. A block resident told us two giant GMC Denali trucks are parked outside the townhouse every night, with hired muscle who keep the engines idling for hours at a time. “You would think there was a government operation going on,” the resident said.

From The Scoop: Ashley Olsen, who in the past has favored the company of men older than she (Lance Armstrong among them), has found a beau.
Ashley, 22, and new boyfriend, Justin Bartha, 29, went to Greece on June 28. After dating the 36-year-old Armstrong and other older men, Ashley finally seems to be settling in with someone more her own age.
“Ashley is so in love and really happy with Justin,” a source told In Touch. “She has been telling her family how much she loves this guy and how sweet he is,” an insider told the mag. “He was (totally) crushed after Lydia Hearst broke up with him last summer,” says a source close to Olsen. “Let’s hope he’s over her and not just using Ashley to retrieve his mojo.”
