Looks like Paula Abdul may have found her post American Idol gig! Her post Idol job hunt has been the subject of a lot of attention lately. She even appeared in a hilarious ‘job interview’ commercial…There have been rumors she would join Simon Cowell when he plans to bring “America’s Got Talent” to the United States. But the latest reports say that she is headed to a new reality show called “Star Search”… Abdul will likely be a judge on the new show.
Do you think Paula will make a good “Star Search” host or what?

The Sun –
AMERICAN Idol runner-up Adam Lambert has claimed that using LSD helped him to become a pop star.
The controversial singer said taking the hallucinogenic drug spurred him on to apply for the US talent show.
Adam, 28, said: “My trip led me to some epiphanies about who I was as a performer, what I wanted to do and how I needed to create my own opportunities.”When I got home, I started writing music with other people and went to the Idol audition. The vision was about finding opportunities. I wasn’t sitting in the desert in rave-wear thinking about Simon Cowell when I was on acid.”

He has the eyes of someone who stalks. Look at him!
That was the pleas from the guy who’s been stalking Ryan Seacrest. He was sent to prison for a 90 day psychiatric evaluation. The 25 year old stalker pleaded guilty to a felony for attacking Seacrest’s security guard outside an Orange country hospital. He also appeared outside Ryan’s KISSFM studio in Burbank, California looking for the American Idol host.
That wasn’t the end of it.
He also showed up outside the E! building where Ryan tapes his daily TV show on E.
After his 90 day psych evaluation he returns for another sentencing on June 14th where he could get up to two years in prison.

According to Ryan Seacrest Kissfm, Simon Cowell is clarifying the rumors that he’s marrying a makeup artist, Mezhgan Hussainy, on American Idol, who was spotted wearing a diamond ring. He says they’re not married but they’re dating. He also says he also thinks a woman will win his fiinal season on American Idol, and wants to find the next Taylor Swift.
Other Simon Cowell tidbits:
- Lady Gaga, Lilly Scott and Tyler Grady are his top picks for music industry mentor.
- He wants his replacement after this season to have music industry experience and “know what they are talking about”…
- He says a couple of people have already asked him for the gig, but he thought they were too “Boring”…
Simon Cowell reportedly turned down millions to come back for another season. Instead, he’s developing and starring in the American imported version of his British hit reality show X-Factor, and he doesn’t want to risk overexposure.

Simon Cowell is apparently dating a soap-opera actress. According to an inside source, Hussainy (who’s appeared on The Bold and the Beautiful and Sunset Beach) is “down to earth and not in the least bit starstruck” by Cowell.
The source also tells The Daily Mail, she also he’s ‘a piece of cake’ whose ‘bark is much bigger than his bite”.

Kara Giordiaro stripped for Maxim magazine and answered a few questions in a recent interview…
How did you go from songwriter to American Idol superjudge?
They were looking for a fourth judge, and they wanted to add someone who was in the industry. Plus, I’m known to be ballsy and outspoken. They knew I wouldn’t clam up and go under the desk. Although I did want to, believe me!
Would you have auditioned for Idol when you were starting out?
Yes, but I don’t think I would have gotten too far if I was, like, 20.
Are you missing Paula this season?
During the auditions, yeah, I missed her. She was so nurturing, and I try to have some of that in my critiques. I wouldn’t say I have the maternal instinct that she had, though. I’m a little bit more New York, a little more hard-edge.
