Ecorazzi – Alicia Silverstone and EMA’s Debbie Levin will be the keynote speakers at the invitation-only private launch of Green Lounge, an eco-luxury experience, on November 15th, at Loews Hotel in Santa Monica. Empowerment coach Jason Nelson will also be speaking and the event will be hosted by FOX 11’s Christine Devine and Planet Green’s Darren Moore.

For those fans of Alicia Silverstone in St. Louis, Detroit, or Atlanta that were hoping to get a signed copy of her new book, “The Kind Diet”, prepare to be disappointed. The actress and vegan activist has reportedly canceled her remaining tour stops. No reason for the tour being cut short was given.

Leading up to the announcement, an apparently healthy Silverstone was on a national media blitz promoting the new diet book; which she proudly proclaimed would make people “feel so magical if they do it.” She even landed an appearance last week on The Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson — leading to an amusing moment when the lights went out on set at the end of the interview. Ferguson amusingly proclaimed, “We’ve gone to radio, everybody!”

We’re hearing Alicia Silverstone headed to broadway…
She’ll be a joining a cast that includes Laura Linney. They will star in “Time Stands Still,” a play by Donald Margulies . Linney will play a photojournalist who was wounded while covering the Iraq war. Silverstone will portray the young girlfriend of the woman’s photo editor.
“Time Stands Still” opens Jan. 28, 2010, at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre. Previews begin Jan. 5.

Teen movies CLUELESS, MEAN GIRLS and PRETTY IN PINK are set to hit the video game market.
Fans of Alicia Silverstone, Lindsay Lohan and Molly Ringwald will get the chance to become the actresses’ characters onscreen, thanks to the games, which are being created by Hollywood studio Paramount.
Paramount bosses handpicked the titles to kick-off the studio’s collaboration with gaming firm Legacy Interactive, reports Daily Variety.
The three films were chosen because of their appeal to female audiences. Paramount will roll out the trio – which will be low-cost ‘casual video games’ – before moving on to more expensive projects next year (09).

Rodale Inc. today announced its plans to publish actress and animal rights advocate Alicia Silverstone’s book, “The Kind Diet,” in the fall of 2009. The book explores the connection between what we put in our bodies and what we’re doing to the planet, and how choosing the right foods in the kitchen can help you feeling lighter, sexier, and more alive than you ever thought possible. The book will include a 3-step diet program and 75 vegan and macrobiotic recipes. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Actress Alicia Silverstone recently spoke to some Obama backers at a local campaign office near the university of Central Florida where she said she wants a “calm and steady” President.
“We were equally struck by the breadth of her knowledge about environmental issues and the impact of diet on the planet as we were by the depth of her commitment to these very important causes,” said publishing director, Pam Krauss. “Just as importantly, she really makes the plant-based foods that are the cornerstone of her diet sound delicious and indulgent, and her enthusiasm for her program is infectious.”
