No, this January wasn’t the worst January in the history of Hollywood Januarys. After all, it gave us arguably the most critically acclaimed, highest box office grossing film ever in Avatar, that provided history’s highest grossing DVD in the sleeper comedy The Hangover, that solidified Bradley Cooper as one of Hollywood’s hottest stars, that showed the highest rated television program (Vikings Vs. Saints) since the season finale of Seinfeld back in 1992. So no, it wasn’t a terrible January for the Hollywood Industry.

FIRTH IMPRESSIONS

Finally, 15 years later, Colin Firth is ridding himself of a stereotype in hollywood that’s plagued him for the last 15 years. After playing Mr. Darcy in the BBC smash hit miniseries, Pride and Prejudice, it seemed he would forever be relegated to playing roles similar to the brooding, snobbish handsome and wealthy Englishman he’s become so identified with.
