Family and friends gather outside the Los Angeles, California home of Brittany Murphy who has passed away early December 20, 2009. The Los Angeles police department had made their way to the home to conduct an investigation of the 32-year-old stars death, as they seem to think there is more to it.
Brittany Murphy’s family released a new statement on Sunday night.
The family of the late actress tells ET, “The sudden loss of our beloved Brittany is a terrible tragedy. She was our daughter, our wife, our love and a shining star. We ask you to respect our privacy at this time.”
The family also says that funeral arrangements are pending.
