Britney Spears is making a number of hit lists as 2009 comes to a close. The singer, who is now sporting a brunette ‘do after months of being blonde, is getting praise for her hit single, “3.” MTV recently named the controversial track one of the Best 10 Songs of 2009. The tune made the list at number eight. “Rolling Stone” readers have also placed Spears on two honorable mention lists. Her song, “Toxic,” was named the number four song of the decade in the magazine’s Decade-end Reader’s Poll. Spears’ album “Blackout” was named “Rolling Stone’s” number seven album of the decade in the same poll.
Other 2009 honors for Spears include the Best Body in Hollywood award from “Ok! Magazine,” the Ultimate Choice Award at the Teen Choice Awards, and the MTV Video Music Award for Best Pop Video for “Womanizer.”
