NY Post – NICOLE KIDMAN today is jetting to Kenya on a mission to end violence against women. The actress will visit Kenyatta Hospital and a school tomorrow and launch an initiative by UNIFEM — the United Nations Development Fund for Women. Kidman is making the trip because a large percentage of Kenyan women have been physically abused. Kidman recently said Hollywood had probably contributed to violence against women by portraying them as weak sex objects. She said: “I can’t be responsible for all of Hollywood, but I can certainly be responsible for my own career.”
