Starpulse – Ryan Seacrest has reassured fans he is coping well after winning a temporary restraining order against a man accused of stalking him with a knife.
The TV and radio host was horrified to discover Chidi Uzomah had been arrested for allegedly wielding a knife outside his Los Angeles offices on Friday.
The star’s lawyer, Blair Berk, went to court just hours after the arrest so Uzomah could be served the order while he was still being interrogated by cops on felony stalking charges.
Under the terms of the temporary restraining order he must stay 100 yards away from Seacrest, his home, job and vehicle. Worried fans of Seacrest sent him messages of support on microblogging website Twitter.com, and the star took to his page to reassure them. He writes, “Thanks I am fine… happy it’s Friday.”
