From UsMagazine – The singer’s new album, Circus, will drop on December 2 — her 27th birthday — her music label Jive/Zomba announced Monday.
The first single, “Womanizer,” will hit radio September 22. Spears — who won big at last weekend’s 2008 MTV Video Music Awards (including Video of the Year) — has been in the studio all summer. “She’s working with a team of top-notch producers and songwriters and we’re very excited about what she’s accomplished so far,” her manager Larry Rudolph said in July. Spears took a break from work this past weekend to celebrate her boys’ birthdays.
