The CW show, “Gossip Girl” is causing some drama with the Parents Television Council over some new racy promos. The new promos for the second season of the drama show a topless Leighton Meester making out and Chace Crawford in bed with an older woman. The council has slammed the promos saying that they reek of desperation. The new season of “Gossip Girl” start September 1st on the CW.

Now it’s almost entirely impossible to argue with this. But my advice to the Parents Television Council it to tread lightly with the attack. Because the more aware the public is of the criticisms, the more times these ads will be referenced and noticed…
