starmagazine.com — Ok Guys so we have a Winner Marshal Fine was the 1st person to give a negative Review for the Dark Knight a movie that other Critics are calling a Masterpiece. I would not be as upset if he gave a legitimate reasoning as to how he came to his conclusion but instead all he says is Its to Dark and not enough fun. So heres the Review You be the judge

What’s it about: Batman (Bale) must confront a new villain – the Joker (Ledger).Overreaching: Why do comic-book movies want to be serious literature? That’s the problem with this movie the same way it was with 2006’s “Superman Returns.” Instead of being exciting pop-culture entertainment that forces the viewer to take it seriously, the movie takes itself too seriously – and misses the fun in the process. Well, almost – the late Heath Ledger seems to be having a great time as the tongue-flicking, homicidal Joker, played as a mad dog with a sense of humor. Whenever Ledger is on the screen, even when the script tries to slow him down, he barrels through with more gleeful evil than you can imagine.
Meanwhile, Heath Ledger’s Family gives the movie a thumbs up.

Otherwise, this long (2-1/2 hours!!), overplotted movie never misses a chance to hammer home what a tortured hero Batman is. Bale plays him as though his boxers are too tight. And there’s far too much of straight-arrow District Attorney Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckherdt) and not nearly enough of his transformation into the crazed Two-Face (one of the movie’s best visual effects). Though some of the action sequences will drop your jaw, there’s too much gab between chases and too many generic battles to keep the movie from grinding along instead of flying. A tip for the future: The best tragic heroes don’t spend the movie talking about their own tragedy.

Oh no. I hope it’s not boring it’s that long?!! I wanted to take my son to see it but I don’t know if he’ll sit through all these hours. Well I think we should just go wait and see to find out how good it is. I hope it’s good though!!!

I strongly believe that this critic wanted to be the first to give a negative review only to promote his name. The Batman story was well done, and has always been “Dark.” If some of the humor in the story was wasted on the critic, it’s not their fault it flew over his head. I found a lot of the parts (where the Joker was not included) hilarious, mainly due to Morgan Freeman. The movie was long, but well worth the development.

My message to the columnist is in my screenname. He can be mad that it’s not the movie he wanted to see, but if he’s going to give a legitimate review he has to take the movie for what it is, and ‘Dark Knight’ accomplished everything it was trying to do. I can’t wait till ur able to watch clips on VCast Mobile TV on the new Krave (motorola.com/krave). Your able to watch clips without even opening your phone! I work with Motorola and I’m a big fan!

I work worth Cirque Du Soleil and I think you should visit youtube.com/cirquelasvegas if you’re looking to step outside of the box…. It’s a performance piece called “Believe” that explores the mind of Criss Angel that he also co-wrote…I heard they had great costumes in the show.

This columnist is a joke never have I seen someone so blind to the fact that this is the greatest super hero movie ever made. It is in the calibur all by itself no it doesnt have your mechanical machines or your make beleive hulks or overated men of iron. It is the tell story of the same Gotham city that we grew up with but it has the twist of the unknown the movie was not to long it was just long enough to get what my money was worth just when you thought it was over it was a different twist it showed light on the dirty Gotham in a way that we havent seen before. HEATH LEDGER is the greatest joker that has now and will ever live. May his sole rest in peace and anybody who thinks different you are as twisted as Harvey Dent!
