NEW YORK, New York –Christie Brinkley got her wish on Friday, as a New York judge ruled her upcoming divorce trial will remain open to the public and media.

Long Island Judge Mark D. Cohen made his ruling on Friday, noting, “open courtrooms, in general and in divorce actions, may provide a basis for societal education,” People reported.
