Corey Haim has been linked to a drug ring that either “sells the pads on the street to addicts or to people who then fill out the forms and obtain the drugs for illegal distribution,” according to the AP. Corey Haim’s name was found on a fradulant prescription for the painkiller Oxycotin. Coroner officials have still not determined what killed the 38 year old.

The name of the late actor Corey Haim was found on a fraudulent prescription for a powerful painkiller that authorities said Friday was obtained through a major drug ring. Page Six – Kate Gosselin is being a “total diva” on the set of “Dancing With the Stars” — snubbing other contestants and behaving frostily to crew members, sources tell Page Six. The recently divorced mom of eight has been rehearsing for the ABC show, which starts its new season March 22. Her icy behavior also persuaded Olympic figure skater Johnny Weir to pull out of talks about being on the show because he didn’t want to work alongside Gosselin. A “DWTS” source said, “Kate doesn’t want anything to do with other contestants . . . While there’s a lot of camaraderie among the crew and other stars including Pamela Anderson, Kate has set herself apart . . . She wants to be queen bee.” Gosselin’s rep didn’t get back to us. A show source said, “She’s been rehearsing in Pennsylvania to be near her kids. For the short time she was in LA, she and the cast got along great.”

Elizabeth Taylor has taken to her Twitter.com blog to defend pal Kathy Ireland from critics who accused the former model of drunken behavior on the red carpet at the Oscars on Sunday. The reclusive movie veteran was appalled when members of the media attacked the jewelry designer and TV personality for her behavior as the co-host of a pre-Oscars TV special. Ireland appeared to be overwhelmed on the red carpet as she interviewed stars like Zac Efron and Gabourey Sidibe and left many critics questioning her sobriety.

But the mom-of-three has assured fans her strange behavior was simply due to the fact she was delighted to be on the red carpet. In a series of posts on her Twitter.com page, Ireland writes: “(I) cannot please everyone… and frankly I wouldn’t ever want to. Don’t feel embarrassed for me. Had a blast and it was so much FUN!
“I heard that some scum magazines, print and internet trashed Kathy Ireland on Oscar Red Carpet night. These rags said, to quote them, ‘She was either stoned or drunk and looked pregnant’ – what???? They must be the ones on drugs. I have never seen anyone epitomize glamour and grace and professionalism like she did…. I am boiling to the point of eruption at the injustice of those statements. When is someone going to stop the yellow press from lashing out at people who no more deserve it than the Dalai Lama!

The Rehab star has teamed up with Fred Perry to create a 17-piece retro-inspired wardrobe, consisting of capri trousers, cardigans and mini-dresses. “I’m really excited – we’ve been working on it for a while and it’s great to see it finally come to fruition,” she said.Fred Perry marketing director Richard Martin said that the troubled performer had a very hands-on role in the creation of the range. “Amy has been wearing Fred Perry for years, so we were aware she was a genuine fan of the brand,” he said. “She has a unique sense of style that reflects the brand’s own historical reference points.”We had three major design meetings where she was closely involved in product style selection and the application of fabric, colour and styling details.

Nan Martin who starred on the ABC sitcom The Drew Carey Show as Mrs. Lauder, and appeared on a number of television shows, from The Twilight Zone to Star Trek: The Next Generation is dead. A Georgia man who posted a video of himself on the Internet holding a sign that said “Elton John must die” has been arrested for making terroristic threats.
Neal Horsley, 65, was arrested early Wednesday in Carrollton, about 50 miles west of Atlanta, said Atlanta Police Sgt. Curtis Davenport. He would not say who Horsley is accused of threatening, but Horsley’s son, Nathan, said he thought the arrest was connected to the video about the musician.

In the past year alone, Michael Jackson, DJ. AM, Britney Murphy and heiress Casey Johnson have all been under the microscope for death from drugs.
Apparently, Corey Haim is the latest celebrity to have died from drug and prescription drug abuse. TMZ reports that vicodin, valium, haloperidol were all found inside his apartment.

TMZ has learned the four pill bottles found in the apartment where Corey Haim collapsed yesterday included the generic versions of Vicodin and Valium … and the same doctor prescribed all 4 powerful meds just days before Haim died. We’re told all four meds were prescribed by a prominent Los Angeles psychiatrist. Sources say all four meds were prescribed the same day — several days before Haim died. The L.A. County Coroner’s Office would not comment on the specific meds found, nor would officials say how many pills — if any — were missing from the bottles. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ they believe Haim died from an accidental overdose of meds, though nothing is final until the Coroner’s toxicology reports are in. There have been reports Haim admitted in the past to taking as many as 85 Valium pills a day. Haim collapsed in his mother’s apartment early yesterday and was pronounced dead 2 1/2 hours later.

He contacted us to explain how he’s finally going to get a little justice when it comes to Erin. As you may recall, Michael was arrested in January and charged with criminal contempt for contacting Erin. But back then, he told Hollyscoop she was actually the one who called him.
Now Michael claims he has even more information on Erin that paints her as the criminal, not him. Just this morning, TMZ reported that Erin claimed to have found a tracking device uneder her car, and says she knows Michael put it there. “She’s coming up with these lies because there’s a warrant for her arrest right now,” he told us. “And she knows that there’s an investigation being done on her—federal, state, civil, and criminal—for hacking my computers, my cell, my emails, my everything.”
